Rafael Struick
Rafael William Struick (born 27 March 2003) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Eerste Divisie club ADO Den Haag. Born in the Netherlands, he plays for the Indonesia national team. Early life Struick played in the youth of RKAVV in and then at Forum Sport, before joining the academy at ADO Den Haag. Club career He made his Eerste Divisie debut on 6 May 2022 against FC Emmen. Following this, in June 2022, he signed his first professional contract with ADO Den Haag. International career On 19 November 2022, Struick made an appearance with Indonesia U-20, and scored a goal against Slovakia U-20 in a 1–2 lost. This is possible as he is of Indonesian descent since his maternal grandparents are Javanese who emigrated to Suriname before coming to the Netherland. Indonesia National Football Team
The Indonesia national football team ( id, Tim nasional sepak bola Indonesia) represents Indonesia in international association football. It was the first Asian team to participate in the FIFA World Cup, particularly in the 1938 edition as Dutch East Indies. The 6–0 loss to eventual finalists Hungary in the first round remains the nation's only appearance in the World Cup. Justin Quincy Hubner (born 14 September 2003) is a professional Indonesian footballer who plays as a defender for Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers. Early life Born in 's-Hertogenbosch, he played in the youth sides of Willem II and Brabant United as well as for his hometown club FC Den Bosch. Manahan Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia. Manahan is the first stadium in Indonesia which hosts the biggest disabled sporting event in Southeast Asia, the 2011 ASEAN Para Games. The stadium was opened on 21 February 1998. The 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup will be the 6th edition of the AFC U-23 Asian Cup (previously the AFC U-23 Championship before rebranding from 2021), the biennial international age-restricted football championship organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for the men's under-23 national teams of Asia. 2023 AFC Asian Cup
The 2023 AFC Asian Cup will be the 18th edition of the AFC Asian Cup, the quadrennial international men's football championship of Asia organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). It will involve 24 national teams after expansion in 2019, with Qatar as the defending champions. The tournament was originally scheduled to be held in China from 16 June to 16 July 2023. On 14 May 2022, the AFC announced that China would not host the tournament due to the circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and China's Zero-COVID policy. 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup Qualification
The 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualification was an international men's under-23 football competition which decided the participating teams of the 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup. A total of 16 teams qualified to play in the final tournament, including Qatar who qualified automatically as hosts. Format changes The AFC Executive Committee had approved several strategic recommendations put forward by the AFC Competitions Committee, one of which was the removal of zone restrictions in AFC youth competitions.
