2024–25 Arizona Wildcats Men's Basketball Team
The 2024–25 Arizona Wildcats men's basketball team represented the University of Arizona during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was led by Tommy Lloyd in his fourth season as head coach. The season marked the Wildcats' 51st season at McKale Center in Tucson, Arizona, and their first season as members of the Big 12 Conference. Previous season The Wildcats finished the 2023–24 season 27–9, 15–5 in Pac-12 Conference play, winning their 18th and final Pac-12 regular season title and overall 1 seed in the Pac-12 tournament. They lost their semifinal match up against eventual tournament champion Oregon 75–68. Tommy Lloyd
Tommy Lloyd (born December 21, 1974) is an American college basketball coach who is the current head coach at the University of Arizona of the Big 12 Conference. His 61 wins in the first two seasons are the most for any head coach in NCAA Division I history. In the summer of 2024, he was the head coach of the United States men's national under-19 basketball team at the 2024 FIBA U18 Men’s AmeriCup in Buenos Aires. Lloyd continued his role in 2025 as the USA basketball men's U–19 coach and will coach at the 2025 FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup in Lausanne. Kylan Boswell (born April 18, 2005) is an American basketball player for the Illinois Fighting Illini of the Big Ten Conference. He previously played for the Arizona Wildcats for two seasons. The New Mexico Lobos men's basketball team represents the University of New Mexico, competing in the Mountain West Conference (MWC) in NCAA Division I. Koulikoro ( Bambara: ߞߎߟߌߞߏߙߏ tr. Kulikoro) is a town and urban commune in Mali. The capital of the Koulikoro Region, Koulikoro is located on banks of the Niger River, downstream from Mali's capital Bamako. Koulikoro is the terminus of the Dakar-Niger Railway which was completed in 1904. Between August and November, at the end of the rainy season, goods are transported down the Niger River to Ségou, Mopti, Tombouctou and Gao.
