2024–25 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship
The 2024–25 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship is the 54th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county club hurling tournament. The competition ran from 3 November 2024 until 19 January 2025. The 2023–24 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship, defending champion was St Thomas's GAA, St Thomas'; however, the club did not qualify for the competition after losing to Cappataggle GAA, Cappataggle in the 2024 Galway Senior Hurling Championship#Senior A – Semi-finals, Galway SHC semi-final. Doon GAA, Doon and Thomastown GAA, Thomstown made their championship debuts, while Clare's Feakle GAA, Feakle returned after a long absence. Dónal Burke
Dónal Burke (born 1998) is an Irish hurler. At club level he plays with Na Fianna and at inter-county level with the Dublin senior hurling team. Burke is Dublin's all-time top championship scorer. Career Burke first played hurling to a high standard as a student at St Declan's College in the Dublin Schools' SAHC. His performances for the school resulted in his inclusion on the amalgamated Dublin North team in the Leinster Colleges SAHC. Burke later played for DCU Dóchas Éireann and was a Fitzgibbon Cup runner-up in 2018 before being named on the Rising Stars Team of the Year. Burke had a very successful underage career at club level with Na Fianna. After winning three successive Dublin MAHC titles from 2014 to 2016 he went on to win back-to-back Dublin U21AHC titles in 2017 and 2018. The 2023 Waterford Senior Hurling Championship was the 123rd staging of the Waterford Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Waterford GAA, Waterford County Board in 1897 Waterford Senior Hurling Championship, 1897. The draw for the group stage placing took place on 7 February 2023. The championship ran from 28 July to 10 September 2023. 2021–22 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship
The 2021–22 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship was the 51st staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county club hurling tournament. It was the first club championship to be held for two years as the 2020–21 edition was cancelled due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Gaelic games. The competition began on 27 November 2021 and concluded on 12 February 2022. The defending champion was Ballyhale Shamrocks of Kilkenny. The final was played at Croke Park in Dublin on 12 February 2022, between Ballygunner of Waterford and Ballyhale Shamrocks of Kilkenny, in what was a first ever meeting in a final.
