2023–24 Kosovo Basketball Superleague
The 2023–24 Kosovo Basketball Superleague, also known as Prince Caffe Superliga, is the 30th season of the Kosovo Basketball Superleague. The season started on 22 September 2023 and ended on 23 May 2024. Teams Istogu has been promoted to the league after winning 2022–23 Kosovo Basketball First League. Venues and location Regular season Playoffs The quarter-finals and finals were played in a best-of-three playoff format. The semi-finals and finals were played in a best-of-five playoff format. The higher seeded teams played game one, three and five (if necessary) at home. Bracket Quarter-finals Semi-finals Finals Play-out Proton Cable Prizreni defeated New Basket in the play-out. The 2022–23 Kosovo Basketball SuperLeague was the 29th season of the Kosovo Basketball Superleague. The season started on 10 October 2022 and ended on 15 May 2023. Peja won its sixth title. Istog ( sq-definite, Istogu; sr-Cyrl-Latn, Исток, Istok) or Burim is a town and municipality located in the District of Peja of western Kosovo. According to the 2011 census, the city of Istog has 5,115 inhabitants, while the municipality has 39,289 inhabitants. Based on the population estimates from the Kosovo Agency of Statistics in 2016, the municipality has 39,982 inhabitants. Name The name of the town comes from the version of the Serbian word ''istok'' (variant ''istek''), meaning "well, water source" referring to the springs of the Istočka river (, literally "spring river"), a tributary to the White Drin river. KB Vëllaznimi Gjakovë is a professional basketball team that plays in the Kosovo Superleague. The club is part of the multidisciplinary Vëllaznimi Gjakovë, whose football team is called KF Vëllaznimi and its handball team KH Vëllaznimi. KB Prizreni, formerly KB Kalaja and Ponte Prizreni, also known as Proton Cable Prizreni due to sponsorship reason, is a professional basketball club based in Prizren, Kosovo. Palace of Youth and Sports (; ), formerly named Boro and Ramiz (; ), is a multi-purpose hall located in Pristina, Kosovo. It includes two indoor arenas, the larger of which had a capacity of 8,000 spectators but is currently out of use, and the smaller in-use with a capacity of 2,800 spectators.
