2023–24 Danish Superliga
The 2023–24 Danish Superliga (officially the 3F Superliga for sponsorship purposes) was the 34th season of the Danish Superliga. It began on 21 July 2023. Teams Vejle Boldklub won the 2022–23 Danish 1st Division and made an immediate return to top flight, while Hvidovre IF secured 2nd place and will play in the first tier division for the first time since 1997. The two teams replaced AC Horsens and AaB, making it the first time since 1986 that AaB would not play in the top tier division. The Danish Superliga (, ) is a professional association football league in Denmark and the highest level of the Danish football league system. The league is currently contested by 12 teams each year, with 2 teams relegated. It is the current Danish football championship tournament, and administered by the Divisionsforeningen. 2022–23 Danish 1st Division
The 2022–23 Danish 1st Division (known as the NordicBet Liga for sponsorship purposes) marked the 27th season of the league operating as the second tier of Danish football and the 83rd season overall under the 1st Division name. The league is governed by the Danish Football Association (DBU). Participants Sønderjyske and Vejle finished the 2021–22 season of the Superliga in 11th and 12th place, respectively, and were relegated to the 1st Division. They replaced AC Horsens and Lyngby Boldklub, who were promoted to the 2022–23 Danish Superliga. Næstved BK and Hillerød won promotion from the 2021–22 Danish 2nd Division. Parken, currently known as Parken - Connected by 3 for sponsorship reasons, and as Telia Parken (2014–2020), is a Soccer-specific stadium, football stadium in the Indre Østerbro (''Inner Østerbro'') district of Copenhagen, Denmark, built from 1990 to 1992. The stadium, which features a retractable roof, currently has a capacity of 38,190 for football games, and is the home of F.C. Copenhagen and the Denmark national football team. Brøndby Stadium (, ) is a football stadium in Brøndbyvester, Denmark. It is the home ground of the Danish Superliga club Brøndby IF. The venue is the second-largest stadium in Denmark. Built in 1965 and inaugurated on 31 July 1966 where it had no stands, it saw a major redevelopment in 2000 which increased capacity to 31,500 spectators, of which 19,700 were seated. Hybrid Grass
Hybrid grass or reinforced natural grass is a product created by combining natural lawn grass with reinforcing synthetic fibres. It is used for stadiums and training pitches used for association football, rugby, gridiron football and cricket. Reinforced natural grass can also be used for events and concerts. Aarhus Gymnastikforening (; commonly known as AGF ) is a professional sports club based in Aarhus, Jutland, Denmark. Founded in 1880, it is one of the oldest clubs in the country where gymnastics and fencing were featured as its main sports. However, AGF is mostly known for its football department, which was established in 1902.
