2022–23 Orlando Magic Season
The 2022–23 Orlando Magic season was the 34th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Despite improving upon their 22–60 record from the previous season, the Magic were eliminated from playoff contention for the third consecutive season after a loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on April 4, 2023. Jamahl Mosley
Jamahl Mosley (born October 6, 1978) is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach for the Orlando Magic of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Colorado Buffaloes men's basketball, Colorado Buffaloes and professionally for four seasons overseas. Mosley began his coaching career in 2005 as a player development coach for the Denver Nuggets. He was promoted to assistant coach in 2007 and served in the same capacity for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Dallas Mavericks. After seven years with the Mavericks, Mosley was hired as head coach for the Orlando Magic in 2021. Jalen Rashon Suggs (born June 3, 2001) is an American player for the Orlando Magic of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Gonzaga Bulldogs. He was selected by the Magic with the fifth overall pick in the 2021 NBA draft. Early life Suggs was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, to Larry Suggs and Molly Manley. Wendell Andre Carter Jr. ( ; born April 16, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for the Orlando Magic of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils. High school career Carter attended Pace Academy in Atlanta, Georgia. FedExForum is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Downtown Memphis, Tennessee. It is the home of the Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the NCAA Division I men's basketball program of the University of Memphis, both of whom previously played home games at the Memphis Pyramid.
