2021–22 Nebraska Cornhuskers Women's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 Nebraska Cornhuskers women's basketball team represented the University of Nebraska during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Cornhuskers, led by sixth year head coach Amy Williams, played their home games at Pinnacle Bank Arena and were members of the Big Ten Conference. They finished the season 24–9, 11–7 in Big Ten play to finish in sixth place. As the sixth seed in the Big Ten women's tournament they defeated Illinois in the Second Round and Michigan in the Quarterfinals before losing to eventual champions Iowa in the Semifinals. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament as the eighth seed in the Wichita Regional. They lost to Gonzaga in the First Round to end their season. Amy Williams (basketball)
Amy Michelle Williams (née Gusso; born March 22, 1976) is the current head coach of the Nebraska Cornhuskers women's basketball, Nebraska women's basketball team. She was previously the head coach at the University of South Dakota, and led the Coyotes to the 2016 Women's National Invitation Tournament, 2016 WNIT championship. Early life and education Born Amy Michelle Gusso in Spearfish, South Dakota, Williams graduated from Spearfish High School in 1993 and played 57 games as a reserve guard (basketball), guard for the Nebraska Cornhuskers women's basketball team at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln from 1994 to 1998. Williams graduated from Nebraska in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in biology and mathematics. Berwick Secondary College
Berwick College is a co-educational, public school for years 7 to 12 situated in the outer Melbourne metropolitan suburb of Berwick. It was once the largest single campus government secondary college in Victoria. In 2006 the school started downsizing with the majority of a block of portables removed. The school consists of approximately 1500 students and 200 teachers, principals and aides. At the state election in 2006, the Victorian Labor Party canvassed plans to build a junior campus of Berwick Secondary in the Timbarra Estate. This school would serve students in years seven to nine. The Adelaide Lightning are an Australian professional basketball team competing in the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL). California Golden Bears Women's Basketball
The California Golden Bears women's basketball team is the women's college basketball team of the University of California, Berkeley. The program has been to the NCAA tournament a total of nine times, and won three conference championships. The current head coach is Charmin Smith, who was hired on June 21, 2019. The team plays its home games at Haas Pavilion, which was built on top of the old Harmon Gymnasium using money donated in part by the owners of Levi-Strauss.
