2021–22 Liga De Expansión MX Season
The 2021–22 Liga de Expansión MX season was the 3rd and 4th edition of the second level professional division of Mexican football. The season was divided into two short tournaments, which was called Apertura 2021 and Clausura 2022, each tournament with an identical format and contested by the same 17 participating clubs. It was started on 27 July 2021 and ended on 14 May 2022. Liga de Expansión MX, also known as Liga BBVA Expansión MX for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Mexico and the second level of the Mexican football league system. It was founded in 2020 as part of the Mexican Football Federation, FMF's "Stabilization Project", which has the primary objective of rescuing the financially troubled teams from the Ascenso MX and prevent the disappearance of a second level league in Mexico. Alebrijes De Oaxaca
Alebrijes de Oaxaca Fútbol Club is a Mexican professional Association football, football club based in Oaxaca, Oaxaca, Oaxaca, that plays in Liga de Expansión MX, the second level division of Mexican football league system, Mexican football. Estadio Morelos
Estadio Morelos is a football stadium located along Periférico Independencia, in the Independencia sector, near the base of Cerro del Quinceo in northwest Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico. It is the site of professional football teams, it currently is the site of Atlético Morelia in the Liga de Expansión MX, Mexico's second division. It used to host Monarcas Morelia in the top division of Mexican football and Monarcas Primera A in the league under that. Morelia

Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes (English: Sports City Stadium) is a 34,253-seat multi-purpose stadium located in Ciudad de los Deportes, Mexico City. Ascenso MX
Ascenso MX, also known as Ascenso BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons, was a professional association football league in Mexico and the second level of the Mexican football league system. Formerly known as Primera División A de México (1994–2009) and also as Liga de Ascenso (2009–2012). The champions of the competition was promoted to Liga MX (top level), and the bottom team was relegated to Liga Premier (third level). In 2012, the league rebranded its name and competition format as Ascenso MX, the major changes (clubs do not need a FMF certification to be promoted and that the competition no longer used group stages).
