The Königssee bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton track is a venue in Germany for bobsleigh, luge and skeleton (sport), skeleton, located in Schönau am Königssee, Bavaria, near Königssee (German for "King's Lake") and the border with Austria. Completed in 1968, it is the first permanent, artificially refrigeration, refrigerated bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton track in the world. Summer Britcher (born March 21, 1994) is an American luger who earned a place on the Olympic team to compete at the 2014 Winter Olympics . She was the youngest woman on the U.S. Olympic Luge team in Sochi. Career Britcher is the daughter of Carrie Britcher and Baltimore City Fire Department Battalion Chief William Britcher. She first became involved in luge at age 11, when she spoke to Gordy Sheer of USA Luge at a promotional/scouting event called the Luge Challenge at the Ski Liberty in Pennsylvania. Sheer suggested she go to Lake Placid for a try-out. Britcher later moved to Lake Placid to train. Olena Andriivna Stetskiv (, born 15 June 1994) is a Ukrainian luger. She participated at the 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics. Career Stetskiv competed at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria, where she was 9th in the singles competition and 7th in the team relay (together with Dukach, Buryy, and Lehedza). Next season she debuted in World Cup competitions. As of February 2022, Stetskiv's best Luge World Cup finish was 12th during the 2018–19 in Altenberg, Germany. Roman Alexandrovich Repilov (; born 5 March 1996) is a Russian luger. Competitive career Representing Russia at the 2015–16 Luge World Cup, Repilov placed second in the sprint event in Calgary with a time of 30.279. On 2 December 2016, he came in fifth in the Lake Placid event of the Men's Singles 2016-17 Luge World Cup, but set a new Lake Placid track start record of 6.359 seconds. Patrick Rastner (born 30 June 1993) is an Italian luger who competed in the men's double event at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi as a pair with Ludwig Rieder. The duo placed seventh.
