2021 Chicago Fall Tennis Classic – Doubles
This was the first edition of the event. Květa Peschke and Andrea Petkovic won the title, defeating Caroline Dolehide and CoCo Vandeweghe in the final, 6–3, 6–1. This was Petkovic's first WTA doubles title. Elise Mertens was in contention to regain the WTA no. 1 doubles ranking by winning the title, but she and partner Hsieh Su-wei withdrew from the competition in the quarterfinals. Barbora Krejčíková accordingly retained the top ranking. Květa Peschke
Květoslava Peschke (, née Hrdličková; born 9 July 1975) is a Czech former professional tennis player who was ranked world No. 1 in doubles. She reached a career-high singles ranking of No. 26 in November 2005, winning one WTA singles title in Makarska in 1998, but achieved most of her success in doubles. Peschke claimed her first Grand Slam title at the 2011 Wimbledon Championships, partnering Katarina Srebotnik. The pair also jointly attained the world No. 1 ranking in doubles for the next ten weeks, and were the 2011 WTA Doubles Team of the Year, having previously reached the final at the 2010 French Open.
