2020–21 UD Logroñés Season
The 2020–21 season was Unión Deportiva Logroñés's 12th season in existence and the club's first season ever in the second division of Football in Spain, Spanish football. In addition to the 2020–21 Segunda División, domestic league, UD Logroñés participated in this season's edition of the 2020–21 Copa del Rey, Copa del Rey. The season covered the period from 21 July 2020 to 30 June 2021. UD Logroñés
Unión Deportiva Logroñés, S.A.D. is a List of football clubs in Spain, Spanish football team based in Logroño, in the autonomous community of La Rioja (Spain), La Rioja. Founded in 2009, it currently plays in , holding home matches at ''Estadio Las Gaunas'', with a capacity of 16,000 seats. History ''Unión Deportiva Logroñés'' was founded in 2009 after the extinction of CD Logroñés, occupying the seat of CD Varea, recently promoted to Segunda División B. They comfortably maintained their place in the division in their first season, (2009–10), and their reserve team, UD Logroñés B, finished in third position in the Divisiones Regionales de Fútbol in La Rioja, regional championship, thus promoting to Tercera División. Ousama Siddiki El Horfi (born 13 April 1998) is a Moroccan professional footballer who plays as a right winger for Spanish club Antequera. He also holds Spanish citizenship. Paulino de la Fuente Gómez (born 27 June 1997), simply known as Paulino, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a winger for Segunda División club Real Oviedo. Club career Paulino was born in Santander, Cantabria, and began his career with AD Pandas at the age of six. Iñaki Sáenz Arenzana (born 29 April 1988) is a Spanish footballer who plays for UD Logroñés. Mainly a central midfielder, he can also play as a left back. Football career Born in Logroño, La Rioja, Iñaki graduated from Real Zaragoza's youth setup, and made his senior debuts with locals CD Calahorra in the 2007–08 campaign, in Tercera División. Jon Errasti Zabaleta (born 6 June 1988) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Club career Born in Eibar, Gipuzkoa, Errasti played youth football with Basque Country neighbours Real Sociedad.
