The 2020–21 Magyar Kupa (English: ''Hungarian Cup'') is the 81st season of Hungary's annual knock-out cup football competition. The title holders were Honvéd by winning the 2020 Magyar Kupa final. Újpest FC
Újpest Football Club () is a Hungary, Hungarian professional association football, football club based in Újpest, Budapest, that competes in Nemzeti Bajnokság I. Formed in 1885, Újpest reached the first division of the Hungarian League in Nemzeti Bajnokság I 1905, 1905 and has been relegated only once since then. The club has been a member of the first division for 108 consecutive years. Újpest have been Hungarian champions twenty times, in addition to winning the Magyar Kupa eleven times and the Szuperkupa three times. In international competitions, Újpest are two-times winners of the Mitropa Cup and winners of the 1930 Coupe des Nations. Mezőkövesdi Sport Egyesület () is a professional association football, football club located in Mezőkövesd, Hungary. The team's colors are Yellow (color), yellow and Blue (color), blue. The team name comes from the Zsóry family who founded the thermal baths that brought wealth to the town. History The club was founded in 1975. Debreceni Vasutas Sport Club is a Hungarian professional football club based in Debrecen that competes in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I, the first tier of Hungarian football. They are best known internationally for reaching the group stages of the UEFA Champions League in the 2009–10 season. Ceglédi Vasutas Sportegyesület, commonly referred to as Ceglédi VSE is a Hungarian sports club based in Cegléd, Pest County. It consists of multiple departments, namely football, athletics and wrestling. The team's colours are yellow and blue. History On 3 March 1935, Ceglédi Vasutas Sportegyesület ("Cegléd Railway Sports Association") was established on the initiative of railway station chief Dr. Gyula Stankaai, and officers Kornél Ginovszky and József Gámán. Békéscsaba 1912 Előre is a Hungarian association football, football club from Békéscsaba, Békés. The club was founded in 1912 as ''Előre Munkás Testedző Egyesület''. Előre translates as ''Forward'' in English. The colours of the club are lilac and white. The club currently play in Nemzeti Bajnokság II, the second tier of Hungarian football. The club achieved its greatest success in 1988 when it won the Hungarian Cup competition, defeating Budapest Honvéd FC 3–2 in the final. Zalaegerszegi Torna Egylet Football Club (), commonly known as Zalaegerszegi TE, Zalaegerszeg or ZTE, is a Hungary, Hungarian professional association football, football club based in Zalaegerszeg. Zalaegerszeg has won one Hungarian League title in 2001–02 Nemzeti Bajnokság I, 2002 and one Magyar Kupa title in 2023. History ZTE traces its roots back to 1912, at the time of the Austria-Hungary, Austro-Hungarian Empire. Its first match was a 4–2 defeat to a team from Vasvár.
