Balmazújvárosi FC, also known by the sponsor name Balmaz Kamilla Gyógyfürdő or the company name Balmazújváros Sport, is a Hungary, Hungarian football (soccer), football club located in Balmazújváros, Hungary. It currently plays in Nemzeti Bajnokság I. The team's colors are Orange (colour), orange and black. History Between 2011 and 2016 the club received 1.2 billion HUF as a backing to develop the club's stadium and the team. On 17 September 2012, László Arany was sacked by the club after the defeat against Ceglédi VSE at home. The team with Arany could win only the first match of the 2012–13 Nemzeti Bajnokság II season against DVSC-DEAC but after they lost four matches in a row. In the 2014–15 Nemzeti Bajnokság II season Balmazújváros managed to escape from relegation from the second division by finishing 13th and gaining one point more than their rival BFC Siófok, Siófok. Balmazújvárosi Városi Sportpálya is a sports stadium in Balmazújváros, Hungary. The stadium is home to association football side Balmazújvárosi FC. The stadium has a capacity of 2,435. History On 5 April 2013 Balmazújváros hosted Ferencvárosi TC II in the 2012–13 Nemzeti Bajnokság II season at Oláh Gábor utcai Stadion, Debrecen, due to the reconstruction of their stadium. 2015–16 Nemzeti Bajnokság II
The 2015–16 Nemzeti Bajnokság II is Hungary's second-level football competition. The championship was won by Gyirmót FC Győr and they were also promoted to the 2016–17 Nemzeti Bajnokság I along with Mezőkövesd-Zsóry SE. Three teams including Szigetszentmiklósi TK, Dunaújváros PASE, and FC Ajka were relegated to the 2016–17 Nemzeti Bajnokság III. 2019–20 Nemzeti Bajnokság II
The 2019–20 Nemzeti Bajnokság II (also known as 2019–20 Merkantil Bank Liga) is Hungary's 69th season of the Nemzeti Bajnokság II, the second tier of the Hungarian football league system. On 29 July 2019, it was announced that Balmazújváros did not receive license from the Hungarian Football Federation. On 29 August 2019 it was confirmed that Balmazújváros's license was suspended. Therefore, the 2019-20 Nemzeti Bajnokság would continue with 19 teams only. On 4 May 2020 season was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Toni Golem
Toni Golem (; born 14 January 1982) is a Croatian professional football manager and former player who played as a defender. He currently serves as an assistant manager of club Śląsk Wrocław. Managerial career After retiring in 2012, Golem began his coaching career at his former club, Hrvatski Dragovoljac. He signed a contract until June 2014. He worked in the staff until just before the summer 2017. He then joined the staff of manager Željko Kopić in Slaven Belupo, functioning as an assistant coach. On 13 November 2018, Željko Kopić was appointed as the new manager of Hajduk Split, where Golem followed with him, remaining as his assistant. In the end of November 2017, Golem finished his UEFA Pro Licence course. Golem left Hajduk in the summer 2018.
