2020–21 Eredivisie (women)
The 2020–21 Eredivisie Vrouwen is the eleventh season of the Netherlands women's professional football league. Twente started the season as defending champions. Format At the regular season, the eight teams play each other twice (once at home and once away), for a total of 14 matches each. After that the top four teams qualify for a championship play-off and the bottom four teams play a placement play-off. In each play-off, teams played each other twice for a total of 6 matches each. Points accumulated at the regular season are halved and added to the points of the play-off stage rounds. There is no relegation nor promotion in the league and the champion and runner-up qualify for the 2021–22 UEFA Women's Champions League. 2020–21 Eredivisie
The 2020–21 Eredivisie was the 65th season of the Eredivisie since its establishment in 1955. The season began on 12 September 2020 and concluded on 16 May 2021. On 2 February 2021, the KNVB announced that effective immediately clubs would be allowed to make an extra substitution for suspected concussions as part of an IFAB sanctioned trial. This trial will allow teams to make up to six substitutions across four breaks in the match instead of five substitutions across three breaks in the match. Ajax, having won the title in 2018–19, were the title holders, since the 2019–20 edition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the Netherlands after 25 matchdays and the title was not awarded. Sportpark Nieuw Hanenburg
Sportpark Nieuw Hanenburg is a cricket ground in The Hague, the Netherlands. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1966 when the Netherlands played Oxford University. Over the next three decades it hosted a number of touring teams, as well as the 1998 European Cricket Championships. The Netherlands Women later played a Women's One Day International there in 2003 against Ireland Women in the IWCC Trophy. The ground is used by Quick Haag Cricket Club. The Stadion Woudestein (; known as the Van Donge & De Roo Stadion for sponsorship reasons), is a multi-use stadium in Rotterdam, Netherlands. His studies are mostly in the role of the Christian scholars and missionaries, their effect on the renaissance of Iraq during the 19th century and the early 20th century. Heerhugowaard (; West Frisian Dutch: ''Heerhugoweard'', ''Heregeweard'' or ''De Weard'') is a city in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland and the region of West Friesland. Heerhugowaard was previously a municipality, which merged with the former municipality of Langedijk into the new municipality of Dijk en Waard on 1 January 2022. Velsen () is a municipality in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. It is located on both sides of the North Sea Canal. On the north side of the North Sea Canal there is a major steel plant, Tata Steel IJmuiden, formerly known as '' Koninklijke Hoogovens'' (the town of IJmuiden is actually located south of the canal).
