2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup
The 2020 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was an international limited-overs cricket tournament that was held in South Africa from 17 January to 9 February 2020. It was the thirteenth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, and the second to be held in South Africa after the 1998 event. Sixteen teams took part in the tournament, split into four groups of four. The top two teams from each group advanced to the Super League, with the bottom two teams in each group progressing to the Plate League. India were the defending champions. In the first Super League semi-final, India beat Pakistan by ten wickets to advance to the final, with Yashasvi Jaiswal scoring an unbeaten century. In the second Super League semi-final, Bangladesh beat New Zealand by six wickets, with Mahmudul Hasan Joy scoring a century. International Cricket Council
The International Cricket Council (ICC) is the global Sports governing body, governing body of cricket. It was founded as the Imperial Cricket Conference in 1909 by representatives from Australia, England, and South Africa. In 1965, the body was renamed as the International Cricket Conference and adopted its current name in 1987. ICC has its headquarters in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Japan National Under-19 Cricket Team
The Japan Under-19 cricket team represents Japan in Under-19 cricket players at the international level. Outside of the ICC full-member nations, under-19 international cricket is generally limited to tournament play, and outside of global events (run by the International Cricket Council), Japan’s involvement has been relatively limited, only dating back to 2007, where they participated in the East Asia-Pacific Regional Under-19 qualifier for the first time. Nigel Duguid
Nigel Duguid (born 25 November 1969) is a Guyanese cricket umpire. He made his Twenty20 International (T20I) umpiring debut in a match between the West Indies and Ireland on 21 February 2014. He officiated in his first One Day International (ODI) match between the West Indies and England on 5 March 2017. He was one of the seventeen on-field umpires for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Anil Chaudhary (umpire)
Anil Chaudhary (born 12 March 1965) is an Indian cricket umpire. He stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) on 10 October 2013, in a match between India and Australia. His first One Day International (ODI) as an umpire, between India and the West Indies, was played on 27 November 2013. He was one of the 17 on-field umpires for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. In January 2020, he was named as one of the sixteen umpires for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup tournament in South Africa. In January 2021, the International Cricket Council (ICC) named him as one of the on-field umpires for the first Test match between India and England. On 5 February 2021, he stood in his first Test as an onfield umpire, between India and England. Iknow Chabi (born 18 June 1984) is a Zimbabwean cricket umpire (cricket), umpire. He has officiated in the 2016–17 Logan Cup and the 2016–17 Pro50 Championship tournaments. On 4 July 2018, Chabi stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, between Zimbabwe and Pakistan, during the 2018 Zimbabwe Tri-Nation Series. Roland Black
Roland Black (born 22 July 1971) is a Northern Irish cricket umpire. He has been an umpire since 2006. His name was added to ICC Associate and Affiliate Umpires Panel in 2016. On 14 July 2016, he stood in his first One Day International (ODI) match, between Ireland and Afghanistan. He was initially appointed to stand in the match between the two sides on 10 July, but the match was abandoned due to rain without a ball being bowled. On 5 September 2016, he stood in his first Twenty20 International match, between Ireland and Hong Kong. On 30 May 2017, he was one of the two on-field umpires for the 2017 Inter-Provincial Championship match between Northern Knights and North West Warriors. Philip Whitticase (born 15 March 1965) is a former wicket-keeper and later head coach at Leicestershire County Cricket Club. After 31 years at the club, he left at the end of 2014. Graeme Labrooy
Graeme Fredrick Labrooy (; born 7 June 1964) is a former Sri Lankan cricketer who played in nine Test matches and 44 One Day International from 1986 to 1992. He was the chairman of selectors for the national team and currently serves as an international match referee. His younger brother Wendell Labrooy is also a first-class cricketer and match referee.
