2019–20 Challenge Tour
The 2019–20 Challenge Tour was a series of snooker tournaments that took place during the 2019–20 snooker season. The Challenge Tour (snooker), Challenge Tour was the second-tier tour for players not on the main World Snooker Tour. The top player in the final rankings earned a two-year card to the World Snooker Tour from the 2020–21 snooker season. The following eight players in the rankings progressed to a play-off event, with the winner of that event also receiving a two-year place on the World Snooker Tour. Two of the events were postponed: Event five was rearranged due to poor weather conditions, whilst the play-off was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Played between August and July, the series was contested over ten events. Ashley Hugill finished top of the rankings, winning two of the events. 2018–19 Challenge Tour
The Q Tour, Challenge Tour 2018/2019 was a series of snooker tournaments that took place during the 2018–19 snooker season, 2018–19 season. It was a second-tier tour for players not on the main World Snooker Tour. The top two players in the final rankings earned a two-year card to the World Snooker Tour for 2019–20 snooker season, 2019–20. Brandon Sargeant was certain of his place in the top two even before the final event. Prior to the draw for the final event, Sargeant led the rankings and only David Grace (snooker player), David Grace and Mitchell Mann could catch him. Sargeant could only drop to third if both Grace and Mann reached the final. However, when Grace and Mann were drawn in the same half of the draw, Sargeant was guaranteed his place in the top two. Oliver Brown (snooker Player)
Oliver Brown (born 18 August 1994 in Dronfield, Derbyshire) is English professional snooker player. He turned professional at the start of the 2022/2023 season. He earned a two-year tour card after winning the men's EBSA European Snooker Championship in October 2021. Career 2013/2014 season Brown played in a stage of any ranking event in the first time in the 2013/2014 season. However, he lost in the first qualifying stage of the Australian Open to Joel Walker 5–3. Sydney Wilson
Sydney Wilson (born 6 April 1990 in Southend-on-Sea, Essex) is an English former professional snooker player. Career Wilson began playing snooker at the age of three with his father teaching him the basics of the game. He later took lessons from Vic Harris (snooker player), Vic Harris, a former professional player. As a teenager, he beat most of the best players in his class and won several junior tournaments. At 15, he began playing in the Pontin's International Open Series. He participated for five seasons with his best finish being a second round defeat in 2009. Tyler Rees (born 6 February 1999 in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire) is a Welsh amateur snooker player. He was Under-18 European Snooker Champion in 2016. Career In February 2016, Rees entered the 2016 EBSA European Under-18 Snooker Championship as the number 15 seed, he managed to advance to the final where he defeated fellow countryman Jackson Page 5–2 in the final to win the inaugural championship. As a result, Rees was awarded a place in the qualifying rounds for the 2016 World Snooker Championship. He lost 10–0 there to Jimmy Robertson. Pelt (municipality)
Pelt () is a Municipalities of Belgium, municipality in the Belgian province of Limburg (Belgium), Limburg. It arose on 1 January 2019 from the merging of the municipalities of Neerpelt and Overpelt. After Neerpelt and Overpelt had previously agreed in principle to a merger, the new name of the municipality was announced on 4 November 2017 after a local referendum on the question. Out of the three possibilities Dommelpelt, Pelt or Pelten more than 74 percent of the votes eventually went to Pelt. The name goes back to the Romans, who called the sandy area ''Palethe'', meaning boggy land. The municipal councils definitively approved the merger on 18 December 2017. Neerpelt and Overpelt thus ceased to exist on 31 December 2018. A day later, on 1 January 2019, Pelt officially became a new municipality in Limburg. Dean Young (born 7 January 2002) is a Scottish professional snooker player. Early life He is from Edinburgh, Scotland, and attended Firrhill High School. He began playing snooker at the age of seven years-old. He is based at the Locarno Snooker Club in Edinburgh. Career He won the U-21 Scotland National Snooker Championship in 2018 and 2019 defeating Aaron Graham on both occasions.
