2019 Ireland Tri-Nation Series
The 2019 Ireland Tri-Nation Series was a cricket tournament that was held from 5 to 17 May in Ireland. It was a tri-nation series featuring Bangladesh, Ireland and the West Indies, with all the matches played as One Day Internationals (ODIs). The ODI fixtures were part of Bangladesh and West Indies' preparation for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. Bangladesh also played a 50-over warm-up match against Ireland A on 5 May 2019. The West Indies were the first team to qualify for the final, after they beat hosts Ireland in the fourth match of the series. Bangladesh also qualified for the final, after they beat the West Indies in the fifth match. Bangladesh won the series, after beating the West Indies by five wickets in a rain-affected final. Ireland Wolves Cricket Team
The Ireland Wolves (formally Ireland A) is a national cricket team representing Ireland. It is the second tier of international Irish cricket, below the full Ireland national cricket team. Matches played by Ireland Wolves are not considered to be One-Day Internationals, instead receiving first-class and List A classification. Their first match was against the Bangladesh A cricket team in October 2017 when they toured Bangladesh to play one first-class match at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Sylhet, and five List A matches at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium Academy Ground, Cox's Bazar. Mohammad Mithun
Mohammad Mithun (; born March 3, 1991) is a Bangladeshi cricketer and the captain of Sylhet Strikers. He made his first class in 2006/07 season for Sylhet Division. He made his international debut for Bangladesh in February 2014. Domestic career Mithun made his first-class debut playing for Sylhet Division in November 2006. He enjoyed a good limited-overs season in 2008/09 when he topped the run charts for his team with 285 runs at an imposing strike rate of 105. Mohammad Mahmudullah (; born 4 February 1986), also known as Riyad, is a former international Bangladeshi cricketer and former captain for the side in T20I and test matches. Tamim Iqbal Khan ( Bengali: তামিম ইকবাল খান; born 20 March 1989), commonly known as Tamim Iqbal, is a Bangladeshi former international cricketer and commentator from Chittagong who was captain of the national team in ODI matches from 2020 to 2023. Mohammad Rubel Hossain ( born 1 January 1990) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. Rubel made his international debut in January 2009 aged only 19. He has the highest bowling average of any pace bowler to have bowled at least 2,000 deliveries in Test cricket. He is a quick bowler with a slingy action similar to Lasith Malinga's. Mosaddek Hossain Saikat (; born 10 December 1995) is a Bangladeshi cricketer who plays for the Bangladesh national cricket team and for Barisal Division in domestic cricket.
