The 2018–19 Elitserien was the twelfth season of the present highest Swedish men's bandy top division, Elitserien. Elitserien (bandy)
The Elitserien (literally, the "Elite League") () is since the 2007–08 season the highest bandy league in Sweden. It consists of 14 teams. The season ends with one final game in March. The final was held at Studenternas IP in Uppsala from 1991 until 2012. In 2013 and 2014 the final was played at Friends Arena in Solna Municipality, Solna, and from 2015 to 2017 it was played at the Tele2 Arena. The final returned to 4,600-capacity Studenternas IP indoor stadium in 2018. Season structure During the regular season the fourteen teams play each other team at home and away - a total of 26 games per team. The top six teams directly qualify for the playoffs for the league championship, while the teams ranked from 7th to 10th enter an additional play-off to decide which teams take the other two championship play-off places. Frillesås is a urban areas of Sweden, locality situated in Kungsbacka Municipality, Halland County, Sweden, with 2,044 inhabitants in 2010. Frillesås BK is a bandy club. The locality has a population of approximately 3,000 residents. It is located on the coast facing the Kattegat, where the Löfta River flows into the sea at Frillesås. Lugnet is a large sport complex located in Falun, Sweden. 58 of the Swedish Sports Confederation's 67 special sports can be practiced there. There are six full sized indoor pitches in the area where everything from dance to association football can be played or performed. Falun () is a city and the seat of Falun Municipality in Dalarna County, Sweden, with 37,291 inhabitants in 2010. It is also the capital of Dalarna County. Falun forms, together with Borlänge, a metropolitan area with just over 100,000 inhabitants. Edsbyn Arena is a sports venue in Edsbyn, Sweden. It is the home of Edsbyns IF. Inaugurated on 22 September 2003 by King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, it was the first indoor bandy rink in Sweden. Major work was completed following the 2002–2003 season. On 31 March 2003, construction of the ceiling began. The unit was shut down the same day, and removal of the former ice began. In April the same year, the wooden beams were delivered. Edsbyn () is a locality and the seat of Ovanåker Municipality, Gävleborg County, Sweden with 4321 inhabitants in 2020. It is located in the historical province of Hälsingland.
