2018–19 Danish 1st Division
The 2018–19 Danish 1st Division season is the 23rd season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. The division-champion will be promoted to the 2019–20 Danish Superliga, while the runners-up and the third placed team will face promotion playoffs. The teams in 11th and 12th places are relegated to the 2019–20 Danish 2nd Divisions. Participants FC Helsingør finished last in the 2017–18 Danish Superliga relegation play-off and were relegated to the 1st Division after only one season in the first tier. Silkeborg IF lost to Esbjerg fB and Lyngby Boldklub lost to Vendsyssel FF in the relegation play off and were relegated as well. Silkeborg IF
Silkeborg Idrætsforening, (; commonly known as Silkeborg IF or SIF in short) is a professional football club based in Silkeborg, Denmark. The club was founded in 1917, reached the highest level of Danish football in 1987, and afterwards became one of the most successful football clubs in Denmark. HB Køge () is a professional Danish football club based primarily in the town of Herfølge, and secondly in the town of Køge, both in the Køge Municipality, part of 'Region of Zealand', in the eastern part of Zealand, south of Copenhagen. Boldklubben Fremad Amager (meaning in English: The Ball Club Forward Amager ; abbreviated Fremad A) is a Danish professional football club based in the district of Amager Vest, Copenhagen. The 2013–14 Danish 1st Division season is the 18th season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. The division-champion and runners-up are promoted to the 2014–15 Danish Superliga. The teams in the 11th and 12th places are relegated to the 2014–15 Danish 2nd Divisions. Participants AC Horsens and Silkeborg IF finished the 2012–13 season of the Superliga in 11th and 12th place, respectively, and were relegated to the 1st Division. They replaced Viborg FF and FC Vestsjælland, who were promoted to the 2013–14 Danish Superliga. Hvidovre IF and BK Marienlyst won promotion from the 2012–13 Danish 2nd Divisions. The 2017–18 Danish 2nd Divisions will be divided in three groups of eight teams in the autumn. In spring there will be a promotion play-off and a relegation play-off. The top two teams of the promotion play-off group will be promoted to the 2018–19 Danish 1st Division. Næstved Boldklub
Næstved Boldklub is a Danish association football team based in Næstved in the South of Zealand. Næstved Boldklub is the professional superstructure of the parent club Næstved Idræts Forening (Næstved IF) and currently plays in the Danish 1st Division, the second tier of Danish football league system.
