2017–18 Ranji Trophy Group A
The 2017–18 Ranji Trophy was the 84th season of the Ranji Trophy, the first-class cricket tournament in India. It was contested by 28 teams divided into four groups, each containing seven teams. The top two teams from Group A progressed to the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy#Quarter-finals, quarterfinals of the competition. Both of Hyderabad cricket team, Hyderabad's first two matches were abandoned due to rain. Following the conclusion of the sixth round of fixtures, both Karnataka cricket team, Karnataka and Delhi cricket team, Delhi had progressed to the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy#Knockout stage, knockout stage of the competition. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is the principal national governing body of the sport of cricket in India. Abu Nechim Ahmed (born 5 November 1988) is an Indian cricketer who plays for Assam cricket team, Assam in domestic cricket and played for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. In cricket, a batsman is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batsman is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress. Occurrence At least one batter is not out at the end of every innings, because once ten batters are out, the eleventh has no partner to bat on with, so the innings ends.
