Rahul Singh (born 13 September 1997) is an Indian cricketer. He is a slow left-arm orthodox bowler who plays for Assam. He made his first-class debut for Assam in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy on 6 October 2017. He made his List A debut for Assam in the 2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 14 February 2018. In August 2020, he was one of four cricketers from Assam to be selected as part of the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL). Silchar
Silchar is a city and the headquarters of the Cachar district of the state of Assam, India. It is second largest city of Assam after Guwahati in terms of population and GDP. It is also administrative capital of Barak Valley division. It is located south east of Guwahati. It was founded by Captain Thomas Fisher in 1832 when he shifted the headquarters of Cachar to Janiganj in Silchar. 2020 Indian Premier League
The 2020 Indian Premier League (also known as IPL 13 and branded as Dream11 Indian Premier League 2020) was the thirteenth season of the Indian Premier League, a professional Twenty20 cricket (T20) league established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2008. The tournament was originally scheduled to commence on 29 March 2020, but was suspended until 15 April due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 2020–21 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy
The 2020–21 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy was the thirteenth edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, an annual Twenty20 tournament in India. Played from 10 to 31 January 2021, it was contested by all 38 Ranji Trophy teams and won by Tamil Nadu, their second title. On 17 December 2020, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed the fixtures, with the 38 teams split into six groups. Groups A to E had six teams, while the Plate Group had eight teams. The winners from each group progressed to the quarter-finals, along with the next two teams in Groups A to E with the most points. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of twenty over (cricket), overs.
