2016 City Of Jesolo Trophy
The 2016 City of Jesolo Trophy was the ninth edition of the City of Jesolo Trophy gymnastics competition, held at the SGA Gymnasium in Jesolo, Italy from March 19–20, 2016. Teams from Italy, United States, Brazil and France attended, as well as junior individuals from Canada, Germany, Slovenia, and Finland. The City of Jesolo Trophy is an annual women's gymnastics competition held in Jesolo, Jesolo, Italy. There are competitions for the senior division and junior division. Emily Schild
Emily Jane Schild (born August 19, 1998, in Fort Wayne, Indiana) is an American artistic gymnast. She has been a member of the U.S. National team since 2015 and made her international debut at the 2015 City of Jesolo Trophy. At the 2015 Pan-American Games in Toronto, she was part of the gold-winning US team. Personal life Emily Jane Schild was born on August 19, 1998, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, parents David and Maria Schild. The family moved to North Carolina when Schild was around 5 years old. A member of the National Honor Society, Schild was homeschooled through the NCVP and graduated high school in 2017. Schild attended the University of Georgia and competed on their gymnastics program. Gymnastics career 2013–14: Level 10 and Junior International Elite Schild qualified to the 2013 Nastia Liukin Cup as a Level 10 athlete and finished nineteenth all-around. Ragan Elizabeth Smith (born August 8, 2000) is a retired American gymnast. She is a five-time member of the US National Team (2014–2019) and competed for the University of Oklahoma in collegiate gymnastics from 2020–2024. She is the 2017 United States national all-around champion and was an alternate for the 2016 Olympic team. Personal life Smith was born in Snellville, Georgia, to Michael and Kerry Smith. Tea Ugrin (born 12 June 1998 in Trieste) is a Slovenian artistic gymnast from Italy. She is the 2013 and 2015 Italian all-around champion. She was a member of the silver medal winning team at the 2012 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2012 Junior European Championships, and she competed at the 2015 European Games and the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2015 World Championships. Enus Mariani (born 4 March 1998) is a retired Italian artistic gymnast. She is the 2012 Junior European all-around champion. Junior career Mariani made her international debut at a 2010 friendly meet between junior gymnasts from Italy, France, Germany, and Switzerland. The Italian team of Mariani, Serena Bugani, Elisa Meneghini, Lara Mori, and Martina Rizzelli won the gold medal. Mariani finished seventh in the individual all-around. Alessia Leolini (born 3 February 1997) is an Italian artistic gymnast. Early life Leolini was born in Montevarchi, Italy in 1997. Gymnastics career Junior Leolini competed at various national competitions in 2010 and 2011. She made her international debut at the 2011 City of Jesolo Trophy, in which Italy placed third in team finals. Carlotta Ferlito (born 15 February 1995) is an Italian Artistic gymnastics, artistic gymnast. Since starting her senior career in 2011, Ferlito has won two medals at the European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships, European Championships and represented her country at the 2012 Summer Olympics, 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics.
