2015–16 Sumgayit FK Season
The Sumgayit FK 2015-16 season is Sumgayit's fifth Azerbaijan Premier League season, and sixth season in their history. They will participate in the Azerbaijan Cup as well as the League. Season events On 8 October 2015, Agil Mammadov resigned as manager, being replaced by reserve team manager Samir Abbasov. On 11 January 2016, Mammadov was re-hired as manager. Sumgayit FK
Sumqayıt FK (, ) is an Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani professional Association football, football club based in Sumgayit, Sumgait, that plays in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top tier of Football in Azerbaijan, football in the country. History The club was founded in 2010 as Sumqayıt FK. In May 2011, the team secured their promotion to Azerbaijan Premier League after getting wildcard place instead of defunct FC Absheron, Absheron. After securing promotion to the Premier League, the club based most of their squad on players from Azerbaijan's Azerbaijan national football team U-19, U-19 and Azerbaijan national under-17 football team, U-17 players. In January 2012, the club announced that its old name was being restored. Khazar Lankaran FK
Khazar Lankaran FK () was an Azerbaijani football club based in Lankaran that last played in the Azerbaijan Premier League during the 2015–16 season. Since the summer of 2016 the club has concentrated on youth football. It played in the Azerbaijan Premier League for twelve-seasons, winning the title once, and the Azerbaijan Cup three times. Amit Guluzade
Amit Guluzade (; born 20 November 1992) is head coach of the club " Qaradağ Lökbatan" and a former Azerbaijani football player. Career Club Early career Born in Baku, Guluzade played for Neftçi's youth team before joining the first team. Kayseri Erciyesspor On 25 June 2011, Turkish side Kayseri Erciyesspor signed Guluzade to a two-year contract with the option of a third. Aleksandr Chertoganov
Aleksandr Chertoganov (; ; born 8 February 1980) is a retired Ukrainian-born Azerbaijani footballer. Internationally, he played for Azerbaijan. Career Club Chertoganov signed for Gabala in the summer of 2011 from Inter Baku. In May 2013, Chertoganov parted ways with Gabala. Chertoganov went on to sign for fellow Azerbaijan Premier League side Sumgayit. Shuvalan FK (, ) was an Azerbaijani football club based in Şüvəlan, Baku. The club was founded in 2005 and dissolved in 2019. Uğur Pamuk (born 26 June 1989) is an Azerbaijani international footballer who plays as a midfielder and striker for German club SC Hicret Bielefeld. He is of Turkish descent. FC Baku (), founded as Dinamo Baku in 1997, was an Azerbaijani football club based in Baku that had been an amateur club since 2016. Prior to that, Baku played 18 seasons in the Azerbaijan Premier League, winning the championship twice and the National Cup three times. The club ceased operations in 2018. Rasim Ramaldanov (born 24 January 1986) is an Azerbaijani former professional footballer who played as a defender and is now a coach for Gabala Club career Rasim Ramaldanov signed his first professional contract in 2008 at the age of 22 with Simurq PFC. Neftçi Peşəkar Futbol Klubu, known simply as Neftçi () or Neftchi Baku, is an Azerbaijani professional association football, football club based in the capital Baku, that plays in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the highest tier of Football in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan football.
