2014–15 South West Peninsula League
The 2014–15 South West Peninsula League season was the eighth in the history of the South West Peninsula League, a football competition in England, that feeds the Premier Division of the Western Football League. The league had been formed in 2007 from the merger of the Devon County League and the South Western League, and is restricted to clubs based in Cornwall and Devon. The Premier Division of the South West Peninsula League is on the same level of the National League System as the Western League Division One. Premier Division The Premier Division featured 20 teams, the same as the previous season, after Tavistock were relegated to Division One East, and Liskeard Athletic were relegated to Division One West. South West Peninsula League
The South West Peninsula League (SWPL) is a football competition in England, which was formed in 2007 from the merger of the Devon County League and the South Western League. The league covers Cornwall, Devon, western Somerset and western Dorset. The league consists of two Premier Divisions (East and West), which are ranked at Step 6 in the National League System. Until 2019–20, there was a single Premier Division at Step 6, and two divisions at Step 7 (Division One West and Division One East). Subject to applying, receiving the required ground grading and finishing high enough in the league table, one club from each Premier Division can be promoted to the Western League Premier Division each season. South Devon Football League
The South Devon Football League, known under a sponsorship arrangement as the TCSSDFL, is a association football, football competition based in England. Its top division, the ''Premier Division'', sits outside of the English football league system although it is a feeder to the Devon Football League which sits at Step 11 of this system. There are five divisions in the league. The SDFL's primary cup competition is the Herald Cup, which is a simple knockout competition featuring all SDFL clubs (highest placed teams only). Following the formation of the East Devon FA in 1903, the league came into existence as the Torquay and District League for the 1903–04 season. The first winners were Ellacombe. Brixham A
Brixham is a coastal town and civil parish in the borough of Torbay in the county of Devon, in the south-west of England. As of the 2021 census, Brixham had a population of 16,825. It is one of the main three centres of the borough, along with Paignton and Torquay. Torpoint () is a town and civil parish on the Rame Peninsula in southeast Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated opposite the city of Plymouth across the Hamoaze which is the tidal estuary of the River Tamar.
