The 2014 PFF League (PFFL) was the 11th season of the second tier of Pakistani football league system. The season started on 27 November 2014 and concluded on 27 December 2014. Teams A total of 30 teams contested the league. 21 teams played via departmental route and 9 played from club route. Football Federation League
The Pakistan Football Federation League B Division (; abbreviated: PFFL) is a Pakistani professional league for men's football departments and clubs which are in the Pakistan football league system, and is the country's second-tier competition. Contested by 18 departments and clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the top-tier Pakistan Premier League. Each season, the two top-finishing teams from the PFFL's club phase and the departmental phase are automatically promoted to the Pakistan Premier League, and the winner of the final between club phase and departmental phase is crowned the PFF League champion. Milli Afghan Football Club is a football club based in Quetta, Pakistan. It last competed in the second-tier 2014 PFF League. History In the 2013 PFF League, the club advanced to the second round after victories over Wohaib and Green Star, the latter being the largest victory of the tournament by 5–2. Naveed Ahmed
Naveed Ahmed (born 3 January 1993) is a Pakistani footballer who plays for Pakistan Navy, which he captains. Mainly a centre-back, he played as a midfielder in his early career. Club career Ahmed started playing football at the age of 16 in a local club at his village in Faisalabad. He hails from the same village as former international player Haji Abdul Sattar, who scored the solitary goal at the 1989 South Asian Games football final, where Pakistan was crowned champions after defeating Bangladesh 1–0. 2018–19 Pakistan Premier League
The 2018–19 Pakistan Premier League was the 61st season of Pakistan domestic football and the 12th season of the Pakistan Premier League. It was the first edition of the league to be played since the 2014–15 season. The league was reportedly not recognised by FIFA and AFC, as it was organised by two different federations. Faisal Saleh Hayat controversially-led Pakistan Football Federation, which was internationally recognised, started the league and non-FIFA recognised Ashfaq Hussain Shah group, who was elected PFF president in an election ordered by the Supreme Court a month before the termination of the season completed the event. Format and overview The PPL matches for the season were held in Multan, Karachi and Lahore from 25 September 2018 to 11 January 2019, with 16 teams participating (12 PPL teams and 4 winner teams of second-tier playoffs). Sindh Government Press Football Club serves as the football section of the provincial Government of Sindh, Pakistan. It is based in Karachi. History The team first competed as West Pakistan Government Press, later being renamed as Sindh Government Press around 1962.
