PBC CSKA Moscow () is a Russian professional basketball team based in Moscow, Russia. The club is a member of the VTB United League, and was a member of the EuroLeague. On February 28, 2022, EuroLeague Basketball suspended all Russian teams because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. CSKA won two titles between 2006 and 2008, as well as between 2016 and 2019, in Europe's principal club competition, the EuroLeague, making the final in all seasons these years, and in total has advanced to the EuroLeague Final Four 18 times in the 21st century. Manuchar "Manu" Markoishvili ( ka, მანუჩარ მარკოიშვილი, born 17 November 1986) is a former Georgian professional basketball player and coach who is currently an assistant coach for AS Monaco of the French LNB Élite and the EuroLeague. Early career Markoishvili as a young basketball player was very talented, and he turned into a professional basketball player in Georgia before he graduated from high school. He played for Basco Batumi in the 2001–02 season. In Basco, he distinguished himself, even though he was the youngest player of the team. Astana Basketball Club (), commonly referred to as BC Astana, is a Kazakh professional basketball club that is based in Astana, Kazakhstan. Founded in 2011, it has competed in the Kazakhstan Basketball Championship and the VTB United League since, obtaining many domestic titles in the process. PBC Lokomotiv Kuban () is a Russian professional basketball team based in Krasnodar. It participates in the VTB United League. Their honour list includes a EuroCup Basketball, EuroCup championship in the 2012–13 season, and two Russian Basketball Cup, Russian Cup victories in 1999-00 and 2017–18. History The history of the Lokomotiv starts back in 1946 in Mineralnye Vody. BC Khimki () is a Russian professional basketball team that is based in Khimki, Moscow Oblast. The club's senior men's first team participates in the Russian Basketball Super League 1. Jeremy Raymon Pargo (born March 17, 1986) is an American professional basketball player for Grindavík of the Úrvalsdeild karla. He played college basketball for the Gonzaga Bulldogs.
