2013–14 Nedbank Cup
The Nedbank Cup is a South African club football (soccer) tournament. The knockout tournament, based on the English FA Cup format, was one of a weak opponent facing a stronger one. The competition was sponsored by ABSA until 2007, after which Nedbank took over sponsorship. The winner of the 2013–14 Nedbank Cup qualified for the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup. Format The 16 Premier Soccer League clubs, 8 National First Division teams, as well as 8 teams from the amateur ranks compete for the title. Maluti (also Malooti) is a village in Shikaripara CD block in the Dumka subdivision of the Dumka district of Jharkhand, India. It was built under the Baj Basanta dynasty. The area has 72 old temples, which are edifices to the kings of the Pala Dynasty. They portray various scenes from Hindu mythology including the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. Maluti is known for the annual sacrifice of over 100 goats on Kali Puja, besides one buffalo and a sheep. Animal activist groups have often strongly looked down at this activity. Baroka F.C. is a South African Association football, football club from Ga-Mphahlele near Polokwane, Limpopo that plays in the National First Division. History Baroka won the Limpopo Stream of the SAFA Second Division three years in succession, failing to earn promotion in the national playoffs twice before earning promotion to the National First Division at the third attempt.
