2012–13 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship
The 2012–13 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship was the 43rd staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship, All-Ireland championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1970. The draw for the 2012-13 fixtures took place in August 2012. The championship began on 14 October 2012 and ended on 17 March 2013. Loughgiel Shamrocks were the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship 2011–12, defending champions. St. Thomas's GAA, St. Thomas's secured the title with a 1–11 to 1–9 defeat of Kilcormac–Killoughey GAA, Kilcormac–Killoughey in the All-Ireland final. Ciarán Slevin
Ciarán Slevin (born 1986) is an Irish people, Irish hurling, hurler who played as a centre-forward for the Offaly GAA, Offaly senior team. Slevin has played for Offaly at levels, beginning as a member of the county minor and under-21 hurling teams. He joined the senior team during the National Hurling League 2007, 2007 National League and was included on the panel for the subsequent championship. He enjoyed little success during his one season on the senior team. Middletown Eoghan Rua Gaelic Athletic Club, also known as Eoghan Ruadh ( Owen Roe's), is a GAA club from Middletown, County Armagh, Northern Ireland. The Antrim Senior Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the Bathshack.com Antrim Senior Hurling Championship and abbreviated to the Antrim SHC) is an annual club hurling competition organised by the Antrim GAA, Antrim County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. Tony Considine
Tony Considine served as manager of the Clare senior hurling team from November 2006 until August 2007. Prior to his role with Clare, Considine had guided the County Limerick club Garryspillane to a county senior title in 2005. Clare manager Appointment Considine was ratified as the Clare hurling manager, to succeed Anthony Daly, at a county board meeting in Ennis in November 2006. Kilmallock GAA
Kilmallock GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Kilmallock, County Limerick, Ireland. The club is primarily concerned with the game of hurling, but has also fielded teams in Gaelic football. History Located in the town of Kilmallock, about 20 miles outside Limerick, Kilmallock GAA Club was founded in 1885. Kilmallock's earliest successes where in Gaelic football, with the club claiming Limerick SFC titles in 1908, 1909 and 1916. Kilmallock made the hurling breakthrough in 1956 when they won the Limerick JHC title and earned promotion to the senior grade. Ross O'Carroll
Ross O'Carroll (born 1 January 1987) is a hurling and football player for Kilmacud Crokes and formerly of Dublin. Hurling O'Carroll made his championship debut for Dublin against Wexford in the 2007 Leinster championship and scored a total of 1–01 in a game which Dublin lost by a point. O'Carroll helped guide Dublin to victory in the 2005 Leinster Minor Hurling Championship by scoring one point in the game. Dublin Senior Hurling Championship
The Dublin Senior Hurling Championship () is an annual hurling competition organised by the Dublin County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) since 1887 for the top hurling clubs in County Dublin, Ireland. Sixteen clubs compete. Initially the teams are divided into four groups of four with the group matches being played from April to May with a break to accommodate the All-Ireland Championship and resume during August or September. The group stage is followed by a knock-out phase which takes place during the months of October and November. Sponsored by Go-Ahead, it is therefore officially known as the Go-Ahead Dublin Senior Hurling Championship. Kilmacud Crokes GAA
Kilmacud Crokes () is a large Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Stillorgan, Dublin, Ireland. Background Kilmacud GAA club was formed in 1959 following a public meeting in Saint Laurence's Hall, where Stillorgan shopping centre now stands. The first meeting of the club took place on 12 March 1959. Sixty people attended the meeting and donated a shilling each, meaning the club made Irish pound, IR£3.30 on the night. The club decided to use green-and-white jerseys, but they later decided to use the gold-and-purple colours, some say because of the local school Scoil Lorcain Naofa who also use gold and purple, others say it was because blue are the colours of the crocus. In 1963 the club purchased a -acre site behind the Ormonde Cinema as a permanent home pitch for themselves, Páirc de Burca, and in 1965 the adjoining Glenalbyn House was bought. Danny Owens
Daniel Owens (born 1959) is an Irish hurling manager and former player. At club level he played with Kilcormac–Killoughey and at inter-county level with the Offaly senior hurling team. Owens is also a former elected representative with Offaly County Council. Playing career Owens had his first Gaelic games success as a student at the Carmelite College in Moate. During his time there, he was part of the college's senior football team and won three successive Leinster Colleges SFC medals. Owens also won a Hogan Cup medal after a defeat of St Jarlath's College in 1976. At club level, Owens began his career at juvenile and underage levels with Na Piarsaigh before progressing to adult level with Killoughey. He won Offaly IHC title in 1980 and 1984. Offaly Senior Hurling Championship
The Offaly Senior Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the Molloy Environmental Senior Hurling Championship) is an annual hurling competition contested by top-tier Offaly GAA clubs. The Offaly County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association has organised it since 1896. Kilcormac–Killoughey are the title-holders, defeating Ballinamere by 0–16 to 1–11 in the 2024 final.
