2011–12 Red Star Belgrade Season
In season 2011-12 Red Star Belgrade were competing in Serbian SuperLiga, Serbian Cup and UEFA Europa League. Previous season positions The club competed in Serbian SuperLiga, Serbian Cup in domestic and UEFA Europa League in European competitions. Finishing 2nd in domestic league, behind Partizan, reached semi-final of domestic cup where they lost to Partizan, and losing to Slovak cup winners Slovan Bratislava in third qualifying round for UEFA Europa League. Nikola Maksimović ( sr-Cyrl, Никола Максимовић, ; born 25 November 1991) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back. Club career Early career Maksimović began his career with Kosmos Bajina Bašta, before moving to Sloga Bajina Bašta. He represented both clubs in youth competitions. Jovan Krneta
Jovan Krneta (Serbian Cyrillic: Јован Крнета; born 4 May 1992) is a Serbian footballer who plays as a defender. Career Jovan began his career with Partizan youth squad. Few times he was even included in their first team, but never managed to make a debut for them. Uroš Ćosić (; born 24 October 1992) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a centre back. Club career Uroš Ćosić was born on October 24, 1992, in Belgrade and he made his first steps in football at the youth academies of Red Star Belgrade. Duško Tošić ( sr-Cyrl, Душко Тошић, ; born 19 January 1985) is a Serbian former professional footballer who played as a defender. Aleksandar Kirovski ( sr-cyr, Александар Кировски; born 25 December 1990) is a Serbian retired footballer, who played as a goalkeeper, currently works as a goalkeeping coach in Teleoptik. Boban Bajković (; born 15 March 1985) is a Montenegrin former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Born in Cetinje, Bajković made his first senior appearances with his hometown club Lovćen in the 2001–02 Second League of FR Yugoslavia.
