2010–11 Real Valladolid Season
The 2010–11 Spanish football season is Real Valladolid's first season in the Liga Adelante, second level in Spanish football since the historical 2006–07 Segunda División, 2006–07 season, in which the team promoted to La Liga 2007–08, La Liga with 88 points. The 2010–11 Segunda División season (known as the Liga Adelante for sponsorship reasons) was the 80th since its establishment. The first matches of the season were played on 27 August 2010, the regular league ended on 4 June 2011, and the season ended with the promotion play-off finals on 18 June 2011. The first goal of the season was scored by Javi Guerra, who scored a sixth-minute goal for Real Valladolid against Villarreal B in the early kick-off. The first red card of the season was given to Hernán Pérez from Villarreal B in their opening game against Valladolid. Miniestadi (, meaning in English "Mini Stadium"), officially named "Miniestadi", was a football stadium in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Javier Torres Gómez
Javier Torres Gómez (born 9 January 1970) is a Spanish former footballer who played mainly as a right back. Most of his professional career was associated with Valladolid, as both a player and manager, coaching in several capacities and categories. Playing career Youth years comprised, Madrid-born Torres Gómez spent six years with Real Madrid, playing four seasons with the B-team, three of them in Segunda División. He scored a career-best five goals in 38 games in 1992–93 as the reserves finished in sixth position, and started his career as a midfielder. In summer 1993, Gómez signed for Real Valladolid, where he would remain for the rest of his career.
