Macclesfield Town F
Macclesfield () is a market town and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East, Cheshire, England. It is sited on the River Bollin and the edge of the Cheshire Plain, with Macclesfield Forest to its east; the town lies south of Manchester and east of Chester. Before the Norman Conquest, Macclesfield was held by Edwin, Earl of Mercia and was assessed at £8. The medieval town grew up on the hilltop around what is now St Michael's Church. It was granted a municipal charter in 1261. Macclesfield Grammar School was founded in 1502. The town had a silk-button industry from at least the middle of the 17th century and became a major silk-manufacturing centre from the mid-18th century. The Macclesfield Canal was constructed in 1826–31. Hovis breadmakers were another Victorian employer; modern industries include pharmaceuticals, such as Astra Zeneca. Nathaniel Levi Brown (born 15 June 1981) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender. He played in the Football League for Huddersfield Town, Lincoln City and Macclesfield Town. He also played at non-league level for Wrexham, FC Halifax Town, Harrogate Town, Boston United and Brighouse Town Career Born in Sheffield, Brown worked his way through the ranks at Huddersfield Town before settling down and making over 80 appearances for them without scoring a goal. Northampton ( ) is a town and civil parish in Northamptonshire, England. It is the county town of Northamptonshire and the administrative centre of the unitary authority of West Northamptonshire. The town is situated on the River Nene, north-west of London and south-east of Birmingham. Draper, who plays as a central midfielder, has previously played for Shrewsbury Town, Stafford Rangers, Hednesford Town, Macclesfield Town, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Ross County and Cove Rangers. Hamza Bencherif (; born 9 February 1988) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender or midfielder for Northern Premier League club Worksop Town where he is club captain. Born in Paris, he has played in the Football League for several clubs and represented Algeria at youth international level. Club career Bencherif was born in Paris and started his career with Guingamp before joining Nottingham Forest's youth system in August 2006. Emile Anthony Sinclair (born 29 December 1987) is an English semi-professional footballer who plays as a striker. Career Nottingham Forest Born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, Sinclair started his career with Bradford City's youth system in 2005 before being released and signing for Nottingham Forest in 2006. The forward was given chances, along with other young players, in Forest's 2007 pre-season. Sinclair made his professional debut away at Chester City in the first round of the League Cup.
