The 2010–11 season was the ninth season in FC Vaslui's existence, and its sixth in a row in Liga I. Having finished third last season, FC Vaslui is qualified for the play-off round in Europa League. FC Vaslui
Fotbal Club Vaslui, commonly known as FC Vaslui, or simply as Vaslui (), was a Romanian professional football club based in Vaslui, Vaslui County, founded in 2002 and dissolved in 2014. Its official club colours were yellow and green, hence the nickname "the Yellow and Greens". The club was founded in 2002 as ''Fotbal Club Vaslui'' and became one of the most prominent football clubs in the country after its promotion to the Liga I, three years later. ''Vasluienii'' earned a European spot in five consecutive seasons, lost a Cupa României final in 2010 and narrowly missed the league title in 2012, before being relegated in 2014 because of financial issues. In July 2014, the team was re-established by the association of supporters, under the name of ''ASS FC Vaslui''. Paul Papp
Paul Papp (born 11 November 1989) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Liga I club Petrolul Ploiești. Club career Unirea Dej Born in Dej, Papp started out playing for hometown team Unirea. Botoşani In June 2008, Papp and teammate Adrian Boroştean were signed by FC Botoşani. At age 18, he wore the captain's armband, right on his league debut for his new team. He led his team to a 2–1 win against Dunărea Giurgiu. Lucian Iulian Sânmărtean (born 13 March 1980) is a Romanian former professional association football, footballer who played as an attacking midfielder or a winger (association football), winger, currently he is the assistant coach of the Romania national under-21 football team, Romania national under-21 team.
