Josip "Joe" Šimunić (; born 18 February 1978) is a retired footballer and current president of NK Rudeš. Born in Australia to Bosnian Croat parents, Šimunić started his career at Melbourne Knights then moved to Germany where he spent 14 seasons in the Bundesliga with Hamburger SV, Hertha BSC and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim before finishing his career in Croatia with Dinamo Zagreb. Christian Fiedler
Christian Fiedler (born 27 March 1975) is a German football coach and former player who is goalkeeper coach at Greuther Fürth. A goalkeeper, he spent his entire playing career with Hertha BSC. Career Fiedler was born in Berlin. He led Hertha BSC's amateurs to the 1993 Cup final, losing to a lone Ulf Kirsten strike, 15 minutes from time. He started his professional career in the second division, helping the side promote in 1996–97. For most of his topflight career, however, he was only second-choice to Hertha, successively to Gábor Király and Jaroslav Drobný; his best years came in 2004–07, before the Czech's arrival. Pál Dárdai (born 16 March 1976) is a Hungarian retired footballer who played mainly as a defensive midfielder. He was most recently the head coach of 2. Bundesliga club Hertha BSC. In a 20-year professional career, he played for over a decade with the same club, Hertha BSC, in Germany. With 286 Bundesliga appearances, he is the club's most capped player. Carlos Luciano da Silva (born 2 August 1975), nicknamed Mineiro, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Despite being from the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul his nickname "Mineiro" was given to him because he inherited from his older brother, which also did a test at Internacional de Porto Alegre but did not follow the career as a footballer, because his brother had a similar playing style with Cláudio Mineiro (who played at Internacional between 1979 and 1980). Rudolf Skácel (; born 17 July 1979) is a retired professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He was capped at international level by the Czech Republic. He was generally deployed as a left sided midfield player but proved himself to be versatile, having also played as a central attacking midfielder and a left back at Southampton.
