Kakkonen
Kakkonen or II divisioona is the fourth level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 36 Finnish football teams. Until the end of 2023, ''Kakkonen'' was the third-highest level in Finland, but after the creation of new second-tier Ykkösliiga, Kakkonen also dropped down one level in the league pyramid. The new fourth-tier Kakkonen is divided to three groups, each consisting of 10 teams. The II divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kakkonen ( Finnish for 'Number Two'; ). Sakari Tukiainen finished the season 2014 as the top goal scorer and setting a new league record with 40 goals for the Kakkonen. Petter Meyer finished the 2015 as the top goal scorer for GrIFK with 23 goals. Käpylän Pallo
Käpylän Pallo, commonly referred to as KäPa for short, is a football (soccer) club from the Käpylä district of Helsinki. The club currently plays in the Ykkösliiga, the new second tier of the Finnish league system. Their home arena is Max Westerberg Areena in Käpylän liikuntapuisto, Käpylä, Helsinki. KäPa first team currently play their home matches at the Brahenkenttä, Helsinki due to the requirements in the second-tier. Warkauden Jalkapalloklubi (abbreviated Warkaus JK) is a football club from Varkaus in Finland. The club was formed in 2000 and their home ground is at the Varkauden Keskuskenttä. The men's first team currently plays in the Kakkonen (Second Division). The Chairman of Warkaus JK is Jari Räisänen. Background The club was established in 2000 following the amalgamation of the Warkauden Pallo-35 and Varkauden Työväen Palloilijoiden clubs. The new club has now played 10 consecutive seasons in the Kakkonen (Second Division), the third tier of Finnish football from 2001 to the present day. Kronohagens Idrottsförening (abbreviated KIF or Kiffen) () is a sports club from Helsinki, Finland. The club was founded on 27 September 1908, and has been mainly known for the achievements of its association football and handball teams.
