1990–91 Kentucky Wildcats Men's Basketball Team
The 1990–91 Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball team represented University of Kentucky in the 1990–91 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The head coach was Rick Pitino and the team finished the season with an overall record of 22–6. While they finished first in the SEC standings, they were ineligible to receive the SEC regular-season title, nor participate in the SEC or NCAA tournaments, as they were in the final year of a multi-year postseason ban. Somerset is a home rule-class city in and the county seat of Pulaski County, Kentucky, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 11,924. History Somerset was first settled in 1798 by Thomas Hansford and received its name from Somerset County, New Jersey, where some of the early settlers had formerly lived.
