1986 Cupa României Final
The 1986 Cupa României Final was the 48th final of Romania's most prestigious football cup competition. It was disputed between Dinamo București and Steaua București, and was won by Dinamo București after a game with one goal. It was the sixth cup for Dinamo București. 1985–86 Cupa României
The 1985–86 Cupa României was the 48th edition of Romania's most prestigious football cup competition. The title was won by Dinamo București against Steaua București. Format The competition is an annual knockout tournament. First round proper matches are played on the ground of the lowest ranked team, then from the second round proper the matches are played on a neutral location. If a match is drawn after 90 minutes, the game goes in extra time, if the scored is still tight after 120 minutes, then the winner will be established at penalty kicks. From the first edition, the teams from Divizia A entered in competition in sixteen finals, rule which remained till today. Eastern European Time (EET) is one of the names of UTC+02:00 time zone, 2 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time. The zone uses daylight saving time, so that it uses UTC+03:00 during the summer. Nistor Văidean (born 1 October 1961) is a Romanian former football midfielder. He wrote a book which was released in 2010 called ''Bucuria unui copil despre care se credea că nu va mai juca fotbal niciodată'' ''(The joy of a child who thought that he would never play football again)''. Iulian Mihăescu
Iulian Mihăescu (born 11 September 1962) is a Romanian footballer who played as a midfielder and defender. Club career Mihăescu was born on 11 September 1962 in Târgoviște, starting his senior career by playing as a forward at Divizia B club, Flacăra Moreni. In 1985, he was transferred at Dinamo București, where he played mainly in the defense, making his Divizia A debut on 8 March 1986 when coach Mircea Lucescu sent him on the field at half-time to replace Alexandru Nicolae in a 3–1 victory with FCM Bacău. On 28 May he scored his first goal in the league, the decisive one in the 2–1 win over rivals Steaua București, then on 25 June in the Cupa României final, Lucescu sent him at half time to replace Nelu Stănescu, playing until the 89th minute when he got replaced by Nistor Văidean in the 1–0 victory against the same team, at the time of these both events, '' The Military Men'' were the recent winners of the European Cup. Costel Orac
Costel Orac (born 22 January 1959) is a Romanian retired footballer and current coach. Club career Costel Orac was born on 22 January 1959 in Galați, starting to play junior level football in 1970 at local club, Politehnica, moving one year later at neighboring club, FCM . He made his Divizia A debut on 22 August 1976, playing for FCM Galați in a 1–0 loss in front of Jiul Petroșani, the team relegating after his first season but he stayed with the club, helping it promote back to the first league after two years. After playing five seasons in the first two leagues for FCM Galați, Orac was transferred at Dinamo București together with teammate Nicușor Vlad where for several years he would form a successful offensive trio with Ionel Augustin and Gheorghe Mulțescu, together being called "AMO" by the fans, a nickname inspired by their initials from the first letters of their family name.
