The 1966–67 Cypriot Cup was the 25th edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 16 clubs entered the competition. It began with the first round on 11 June 1967 and concluded on 2 July 1967 with the final which was held at GSP Stadium (1902). Apollon won their 2nd Cypriot Cup trophy after beating Alki 1–0 in the final. Cypriot Cup
The Cypriot Cup, formally known as the Cypriot Coca-Cola Cup of First and Second Division () for sponsorship purposes, is a Cypriot knockout football club competition, hosted annually by the Cyprus Football Association. First held in 1934, it is the second most important competition in Cypriot football, after the Cypriot First Division. Since 2008, it is contested by teams from the first and Cypriot Second Division, second division, while teams from the Cypriot Third Division, third and STOK Elite Division, fourth division compete in the Cypriot Cup for lower divisions. The winners of the Cypriot Cup qualify for one of UEFA competitions, UEFA's European competitions, and a place in the Cypriot Super Cup. APOEL FC, APOEL are the most successful team in the competition with 21 titles. Apollon Limassol FC (, ''Apollon Lemesou'') is a Cypriot sports club, based in Limassol. It has football, basketball and volleyball teams. Founded in 1954, Apollon FC currently plays in the Cypriot First Division and has won the championship title four times, the cup nine times and the Super Cup four times. Alki Larnaca FC
Alki Larnaca (, ''ALKI Larnakas'') was a Cypriot football club based in the town of Larnaca. The club was founded in 1948 and it was dissolved on the 6th of May 2014 due to financial issues. The club's colours were blue and red. They reached the Cypriot Cup final on five occasions without a win. History 1979 was the best year in club's history. They finished third in the Cypriot Championship and played the final in the Cypriot Cup, losing to APOEL Nicosia, which were also the champions. That gave them the right to play in the UEFA Cup, where they were eliminated in the first round by Dinamo Bucharest. The team was crowned Champions of the Cypriot Second Division for the season 2009–10 and have participated in the Cypriot First Division until its dissolution. GSP Stadium (1902)
GCP Stadium () was a Association football, football stadium in Nicosia, Cyprus. It had a capacity of 12,000 and was built in 1902 with donations given by Greek Cypriot Nicosians. On 17 October 1934, after a general assembly of the GCP association, the stadium was renamed "GCP Stadium, Eugenia and Antonios Theodotou" in honour of the stadium's major benefactors. The stadium served as the home stadium for the Nicosia football clubs of Enosis Neon Trust, Trust, APOEL F.C., APOEL, Olympiakos Nicosia, AC Omonia, Omonia, Orfeas Nicosia, Armenian Young Men's Association, AYMA and Çetinkaya Türk S.K. The Cyprus national football team had also played home games there in the past. It was located at the centre of Nicosia and often used for large music concerts as well.
