11th Federal Electoral District Of Nuevo León
The 11th federal electoral district of Nuevo León () is one of the Federal electoral districts of Mexico, 300 electoral districts into which Mexico is divided for elections to the federal Chamber of Deputies (Mexico), Chamber of Deputies and one of 14 such districts in the States of Mexico, state of Nuevo León. It elects one deputy (legislator), deputy to the lower house of Congress (Mexico), Congress for each three-year legislative session by means of the Plurality voting system, first-past-the-post system. Votes cast in the district also count towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the Electoral regions of Mexico, second region. General elections were held in Mexico on 2 June 2024. LI Legislature Of The Mexican Congress
The LI Legislature of the Congress of the Union (''LI Legislatura del Congreso de la Unión'') was the 51st session of the Congress of Mexico. It sat from 1 September 1979 to 31 August 1982. The session's senators had been elected in the 1976 general election while the deputies were elected in the 1979 mid-term election. It marked a watershed in that it was the first congress elected after the 1977 political reforms, under which several parties on the left and the right obtained official registration and access to Congress by opposition parties (i.e. those other than the hegemonic Institutional Revolutionary Party) was made much more viable. Santa Catarina is a city in Santa Catarina Municipality in the state of Nuevo León, Mexico that is part of the Monterrey Metropolitan area. History The name of this city comes from the Catholic Saint Catherine of Alexandria. The city of Santa Catarina was not "founded" in a traditional manner; at the beginning, it was only a resting point for travelers between Monterrey and Saltillo.
