Åžirinyer (Ä°zmir Metro)
Şirinyer is a proposed underground station on the Üçyol—Çamlıkule Line of the İzmir Metro. It will be located beneath Mehmet Akif Avenue, next to the Şirinyer railway station, in western Buca. Construction of the station, along with the metro line, is expected to begin in 2020. Connection to İZBAN commuter rail service will be available from the station. Once complete, Şirinyer will become the fourth station on the İzmir Metro to have direct connection to heavy rail service, along with Basmane, Hilal and Halkapınar. Ä°zmir Metro
The İzmir Metro () is a Medium-capacity rail system, light metro system serving the city of İzmir, Turkey. The current system, consisting of M1 (İzmir Metro), one line, starts from Narlıdere Kaymakamlık station in the southwestern portion of the metropolitan area and runs towards northeast to end at Evka 3 (İzmir Metro), Evka-3 in Bornova. İzmir's metro line is long, and serves 24 stations as of 4 March 2024. Overview By 1990, it was thought that the existing public transport system in Izmir could no longer support the growing population. A plan was thought of to build a rapid transit network by rail to cope with this. A contract was signed in 1993, and the handover was in 1994. Hilal (Ä°zmir Metro)
Hilal is an elevated station on the M1 Line of the Ä°zmir Metro in Konak. Located above the Turkish State Railways' Hilal junction, it is one of the ten original stations of the metro system. Connection to Ä°ZBAN commuter trains are available at Hilal railway station. Since Hilal is located in the middle of a railway junction, no direct connections to ESHOT city bus service is available. The closest bus stop is located on 1396th Street about northwest of the station. Hilal station was opened on 22 May 2000. Karşıyaka () is a municipality and district of İzmir Province, Turkey. Its area is 51 km2, and its population is 346,264 (2022). The district extends for twelve kilometres along the northern and eastern coastline of the tip of the Gulf of İzmir. Selçuk
Selçuk is a municipality and district of İzmir Province, Turkey. Its area is 317 km2, and its population is 38,151 (2022). The town Selçuk is located northeast of the ancient city of Ephesus, that was once home to the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Aliağa () is a municipality and district of İzmir Province, Turkey. Its area is 379 km2, and its population is 104,828 (2022). The town is situated at about north of İzmir. Halkapınar Transfer Center (), commonly referred to as Halkapınar Metro or just Halkapınar, is a multi-modal transportation complex in İzmir, Turkey.
