Śródmieście-Północ (''Downtown-North'') is a municipal neighbourhood of the city of Szczecin, Poland, within the Śródmieście, Szczecin, Downtown district. Its western half features low-rise housing with villas, while the eastern half, mid-rise apartment buildings. The neighbourhood has an area of 1.41 km2, and in 2022, was inhabited by 10,460 people. The neighbourhood includes the city hall, the Bright Meadows, Bright Meadows Square, and skyscreper Hanza Tower. The area was developed in the 19th century, with construction of tenement houses, and villas of the housing estate of Westend (now known as Łękno). They were incorporated into the city in 1875 and 1910 respectively. Pogodno
Pogodno is a municipal neighbourhood of the city of Szczecin, Poland, within the Zachód, Szczecin, West district. It is mostly a low-rise housing estate with detached houses. The neighbourhood has an area of 4.2 km2, and in 2015, was inhabited by 24,359 people, making it the second most populous neighbourhood of the city. The area begun being developed in 1890 as a suburb, and was incorporated into Szczecin in 1910. History During the War of the Fifth Coalition, in the area was located a camp of the French Imperial Army (1804–1815), French Imperial Army, housing 12,000 soldiers. The Jan Kasprowicz Park, also known as the Kasprowicz Park, and until 1945 known as Quistorp Park, is the biggest urban park in Szczecin, Poland located within municipal neighbourhood of Łękno near the boundaries of Śródmieście–Północ and Niebuszewo–Bolinko. The area of the park is circa 27.03 ha. Together with Arkonian Forest Park it forms Kasprowicz–Arkonian Park Complex which area is 91,69 ha.
