Łódź Radogoszcz Zachód (English: ''Łódź Radogoszcz West'') is a commuter railway station located in Łódź, in Bałuty district, between Zgierz and Łódź Żabieniec stations. It was built in early 2010s and opened in 2013 as part of Łódź Commuter Railway project. Łódź Circular Line
The Łódź Circular Line is a complex of railway lines and connectors in the city of Łódź, Poland, together forming the ring surrounding the central part of the city. History Earliest plans of creating the circular railway surrounding the city of Łódź were dated with late 1880s, and were mostly made for freight purposes to connect textile factories. The earliest section to be actually built was done as part of Warsaw-Kalisz railway in 1900-1902 - it ran between Zgierz and Łódź Kaliska stations. Łódź Kaliska Railway Station
Łódź Kaliska is one of the two main railway stations in the central Polish city of Łódź. It is located west of the center of the city, in the district of Polesie, and it consists of six platforms. The first complex of the station, designed by Polish architect Czesław Domaniewski, was built in 1902 in the style of Art Nouveau. Inside, there were several Art Nouveau elements, including crystal windows in doors, as well as brass fittings. The station served the Warsaw–Kalisz Railway, built between 1900 and 1902. On 28 September 1946 a major rail accident occurred at the station, in which 21 people died. In 1994, a brand new complex of the Łódź Kaliska station was completed, and has been in use since then. The station provides connections to all major cities of Poland, including Warsaw, Kraków, Bydgoszcz, Katowice, Poznań, Wrocław, Szczecin, and Gdańsk, as well as Prague in the Czech Republic. Zgierz is a city in central Poland, located just to the north of Łódź, and part of the metropolitan area centered on that city. As of 2021, it had a population of 54,974. Łowicz is a town in central Poland with 27,436 inhabitants (2021). It is situated in the Łódź Voivodeship.
