Łutownia River
The Łutownia (; Belarusian language, Belarusian: ''Лутоўня''), in northeast Poland, is a left-bank tributary of the Narewka (river), Narewka River. It was formerly known in Polish as the ''Łętownia'' , ''Lętownia'' , ''Łotownia'' , ''Łutownica'' , ''Latownica'' , ''Lutownia'' , and ''Szczekotówka'' River. The Łutownia flows through the European region known as the ''Wysoczyzny Podlasko – Bialoruskie'' (Podlasie-Belarus Plateau) in Poland's Podlaskie Voivodeship, Podlasie Province and Belarus' Hrodna Voblast. The river, from its origin to its mouth, flows through the Białowieża Forest. Nowosady, Hajnówka County
Nowosady is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Hajnówka, within Hajnówka County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus. It lies approximately north-east of Hajnówka and south-east of the regional capital Białystok. The village was founded in the beginning of the 18th century (Rękopis Nr D.A. 11518, Wilno 1786). Narewka (river)
The Narewka (; Belarusian ''Нараўка'') River is a left-bank tributary of the Narew River in western Belarus and northeastern Poland. Etymology The Narewka River's name comes from a Proto-Indo-European root, ''*nr'', primarily associated with "water" (compare Narva, Neretva, Neris, Ner, and Nur). Geography The Narewka flows through the European region known as the (Podlasie–Belarus Plateau) in Poland's Podlaskie Voivodeship and Belarus' Grodno Region. A major part of the river flows through the Białowieża Forest. The Narewka River is the main watercourse of the Polish part of the Białowieża Forest. Podlaskie Voivodeship ( ) is a Voivodeships of Poland, voivodeship in northeastern Poland. The name of the voivodeship refers to the historical region of Podlachia (in Polish, ''Podlasie''), and significant part of its territory corresponds to that region. Białowieża Forest
Białowieża Forest is a large forest complex on the border between Poland and Belarus. It is one of the last and the largest remaining part of the immense primeval forest that once stretched across the European Plain. The forest is home to more than 800 European bison, Europe's heaviest land animal. UNESCO's Man and the Biosphere Programme designated the Polish Białowieża National Park, Biosphere Reserve as ' in 1976, and the Belarusian Belovezhskaya Pushcha National Park, Biosphere Reserve as ' in 1993.
