Łukasz Rzepecki
Łukasz Adrian Rzepecki (born 5 September 1992) is a Polish politician, lawyer, former parliamentarian. Graduate of the University of Łódź, he was the Chief of Staff to Marcin Mastalerek and a legislative assistant to Janusz Wojciechowski. Subsequently, he was the secretary of the Law and Justice party in the Łódź region and the chairman of the regional structures of the Law and Justice Youth Forum. In 2010 he was elected a councillor in Ozorków. In 2014 successfully ran for councillor in Łódź. In 2015 Polish parliamentary elections Rzepecki was elected to Sejm, representing Law and Justice party. He was the youngest parliamentarian elected in these elections. Law and Justice ( , PiS) is a right-wing populist and national-conservative political party in Poland. The party is a member of European Conservatives and Reformists Group. Its chairman has been Jarosław Kaczyński since 18 January 2003. It was founded in 2001 by Jarosław and Lech Kaczyński as a direct successor of the Centre Agreement after it split from the Solidarity Electoral Action (AWS). It won the 2005 parliamentary and presidential elections, after which Lech became the president of Poland. TVN24 is a Polish 24-hour commercial news channel, launched on 9 August 2001. Being a part of the TVN Network, TVN24 has been owned since 2018 by US-based media company Warner Bros. Discovery ( Discovery, Inc. before 2022). It gained broader popularity after the September 11, 2001 attacks in the US, which was the first major incident to be covered by TVN24. 2015 Polish Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Poland on 25 October 2015. All 460 members of the Sejm and 100 senators of the Senate of Poland, Senate were elected. The election was won by the largest opposition party, the right-wing Law and Justice (Poland), Law and Justice (PiS), with 38% of the vote against the governing Civic Platform (PO), which achieved 24%. Ozorków
Ozorków () is a town on the Bzura River in central Poland, with 19,128 inhabitants (2020). It has been situated in the Łódź Voivodeship (Lodz Province) since 1919. History The city's history dates back to the fifteenth century. In 1415 a small village with inaccessible forests and swamps, belonging to the Szczawiński family was mentioned in one of the Polish chronicles. In 1807, the future owner of Ozorków, Ignacy Starzyński, hoping to expand his textile business, brought 19 drapers from Saxony to the village. Janusz Czesław Wojciechowski (born 6 December 1954) is a Polish politician and was a long-standing Member of the European Parliament, elected from the Lodz Voivodship representing the Polish People's Party (PSL) (2004–2006), the Polish People's Party "Piast" (PSL "Piast") (2006–2010) and, lately, Law and Justice (since 2010). Zgierz is a city in central Poland, located just to the north of Łódź, and part of the metropolitan area centered on that city. As of 2021, it had a population of 54,974. Located within the historic Łęczyca Land, it is the capital of Zgierz County in the Łódź Voivodeship. History Zgierz is one of the oldest cities in central Poland.
