ﾅ「kasz Rutkowski (born 22 January 1988 in Zakopane) is a Polish ski jumper. Personal life ﾅ「kasz Rutkowski was born in Zakopane, Poland. He had an older brother Mateusz (1986窶2024), who was a ski jumper too. In 2017, along with his brother Mateusz, he founded the Rutkow-Ski Sports Club that is dedicated to training children and youth. Career He made his Continental Cup debut in February 2006, his best result being a sixth place from Vikersund in March 2008. He also finished seventh in the normal hill at both the 2006 and 2008 Junior World Championships; at the latter event he also won a bronze medal in the team competition. He made his World Cup debut in January 2008 in Zakopane, and collected his first World Cup points with a 27th place in December 2008 in Engelberg. FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009
The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 () took place 18 February 窶 1 March 2009 in Liberec, Czech Republic. This was the fourth time these championships were hosted either in the Czech Republic or in Czechoslovakia, having done so at Janskﾃｩ Lﾃ｡znﾄ (1925) and Vysokﾃｩ Tatry (in both 1935 and 1970). The biggest sports event in the country's history, it hosted 589 athletes from 61 countries. Women's ski jumping and Men's Nordic combined 10 km mass start events debuted at these championships, both won by Americans Lindsey Van and Todd Lodwick, respectively.
