Steinunn Þóra Árnadóttir (born 18 September 1977) is an Icelandic politician and former member of the Althing, from the Left-Green Movement. Political career Steinunn Þóra has a BA in Anthropology and an MA in Disability Studies, both from the University of Iceland. She has been active within the Multiple sclerosis, MS-Society of Iceland as well as the Organization of Disabled in the country. Þóra Björg Helgadóttir (born 5 May 1981), commonly Anglicised as Thora Helgadottir, is an Icelandic former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Trained at university level in the United States, she formerly played for four seasons with Duke University's women's soccer team. Þóra Kristín Jónsdóttir (born 30 March 1997) is an Icelandic basketball player who plays the point guard position for Haukar in the Úrvalsdeild kvenna and the Icelandic national basketball team. Þóra Magnúsdóttir (, ; ; born ) was a daughter of King Magnus III of Norway (''Magnus 3 Olavsson Berrføtt''). Þóra married an Icelandic man and moved to Iceland. Her husband, Loftur Sæmundsson was a chieftain of Oddi at Rangárvellir in the south part of Iceland. He was a member of the Oddaverjar clan and son of Icelandic priest and scholar Sæmundur fróði, Sæmundur fróði Sigfússon. Their son Jón Loftsson was later chieftain at Oddi.
