ÖAF
ÖAF is an initialism for Österreichische Automobil-Fabrik (literally ''Austrian automobile factory''), previously known as Österreichische Austro-Fiat, an Austrian (Austro-Hungarian) car and truck manufacturer that now is completely incorporated into MAN. Austro-Fiat ÖAF was created by Fiat in 1907 and is now part of the German MAN group. The manufacture of automobiles began in the new plant built for the occasion in Vienna in 1908, while the number was only 50 employees. A truck of 4 tonnes, similar to the Italian Fiat model was manufactured from 1911. It was originally Austro-Fiat, which during the First World War began to develop their own products. In 1925 the Austro-Fiat brand expired and the company became Österreichische Automobil Fabrik AG, under the abbreviation ÖAF, with preservation of the trademark filed earlier. Gräf & Stift
Gräf & Stift was an Austrian manufacturer of automobiles, trucks, buses and trolleybuses, from 1902 until 2001, latterly as a subsidiary of MAN SE, MAN. It was founded by the brothers Franz, Heinrich and Karl Gräf, and the investor, Wilhelm Stift. The company was a well-known manufacturer of luxury automobiles, including the Double Phaeton that carried Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife, Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg, Sophie, when they were assassinated in Sarajevo in June 1914. The car is on display at the Austrian Military Museum. By the 1930s Gräf & Stift had begun making trucks and buses, and it ceased car manufacturing in 1938. The company merged with ÖAF, Österreichische Automobil Fabriks-AG (ÖAF) in 1971, becoming ÖAF-Gräf & Stift AG, and later the same year was taken over by MAN SE, MAN AG. Pinzgauer High Mobility All-Terrain Vehicle
The Pinzgauer is a family of high-mobility all-terrain 4WD (4×4) and 6WD (6×6) military utility vehicles. The vehicle was originally developed in the late 1960s and manufactured by Steyr-Daimler-Puch of Graz, Austria, and was named after the Pinzgauer, an Austrian breed of cattle. They were most recently manufactured at Guildford, Surrey, England, by BAE Systems Land & Armaments. It was popular amongst military buyers, and continued in production there throughout the rest of the century. In 2000 the rights were sold to Automotive Technik Ltd (ATL) in the UK.
