Ängelholm
Ängelholm is a urban areas of Sweden, locality and the seat of Ängelholm Municipality in Skåne, Scania, Sweden with 42,131 inhabitants in 2017. History The city was founded in 1516 as Engelholm by King Christian II of Denmark, who moved the settlement from Luntertun on the coast because it was difficult to defend. As a founder, King Christian II personally identified the boundaries of the new city, granting the city a charter in 1516. At Luntertun there is only a church garden left today. The town remained small for centuries. Following the Treaty of Roskilde in 1658, Ängelholm, together with the rest of Skåne, was assigned by Denmark to Sweden. The town began to grow in the 19th century due to industrialization. It was also a garrison town until 1883 and had a Swedish Air Force base between 1941 and 2009. The older spelling ''Engelholm'' was retained until 1912, when the city council decided to adopt a more modern spelling in line with the Swedish spelling reform of 1906. Th ...

Ängelholm Municipality
Ängelholm Municipality () is a Municipalities of Sweden, municipality in Scania County in South Sweden in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in the city Ängelholm. In 1971 the ''City of Ängelholm'' was amalgamated with the rural municipalities ''Ausås'', ''Barkåkra'', ''Hjärnarp'' and ''Munka-Ljungby'', thus creating a municipality of unitary type. In 1974 a parish from the dissolved municipality ''Östra Ljungby'' was added. Ängelholm was until recently the home of a major airforce base. The base is now closed down and the premises taken over by the supercar manufacturer Koenigsegg. A notable landmark is the UFO-Memorial Ängelholm, UFO memorial at Ängelholm. Scania Wing
Scania Wing (), also F 10 Ängelholm, or simply F 10, is a former Swedish Air Force wing with the main base located in southernmost Sweden. History The tenth wing initially started as a detachment located at Svea Wing (F 8) during the summer of 1940 but was relocated to Bulltofta Airport near Malmö on October 1, 1940 to deter foreign aircraft during the war. The first aircraft were two squadrons of older J 8's from Svea Wing (F 8) wing which served for only one year until they were replaced by three squadrons of the J 20's. In 1941, it was decided to transfer the wing to a new base at Barkåkra near Ängelholm. In 1945 the wing was completely transferred and equipped with J 22 fighters. However, the grass field was too soft and full flight operations could not be undertaken until 1947 when one runway was paved. Rögle BK (Rögle Bandyklubb) is a Swedish professional ice hockey club from Ängelholm that has been playing in the SHL since the 2015–16 season. Emma Cornelia Zetterberg (; born 24 April 1979) is a Swedish television personality and singer. She is married to former Detroit Red Wings captain Henrik Zetterberg. Career Andersson first claimed to fame in '' Expedition Robinson 2001'' as one of the contestants. The Swedish Air Force ( or just ) is the air force Military branch, branch of the Swedish Armed Forces. History The Swedish Air Force was created on 1 July 1926 when the aircraft units of the Army and Navy were merged. Because of the escalating international tension during the 1930s the Air Force was reorganized and expanded from four to seven squadrons. Skälder Bay
Skälder Bay () is a bay in Skåne County, Sweden. It is an inlet of the Kattegat on the western coast of Scania, located between the Bjäre Peninsula to the north (which separates it from Laholm Bay) and the Kullen Peninsula to the south (which separates it from Øresund). The town of Ängelholm is located at the head of the bay. Its depth at the entrance is between , gradually rising towards the head of the bay. The bottom is rocky near the northeastern and southwestern shores, but it is mostly sand and clay in the central part.
