Álvaro Obregón is located in the center zone of the Mexican state of Michoacán. Indaparapeo is a municipality in the Mexican state of Michoacán. It is located approximately east of the state capital of Morelia. Geography The municipality of Indaparapeo is located in the Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt in northeast Michoacán at an elevation between . Cuitzeo () is a municipality located in the north of the Mexican state of Michoacán. The municipal seat is the town of Cuitzeo del Porvenir It is located in a relatively flat depression around Lake Cuitzeo, a large, very shallow lake, which is in danger of disappearing. Álvaro Obregón
Álvaro Obregón Salido (; 19 February 1880 – 17 July 1928) was a Mexican general, inventor and politician who served as the 46th President of Mexico from 1920 to 1924. Obregón was re-elected to the presidency in 1928 but was assassinated before he could take office. Born in Navojoa, Sonora, Obregón joined the Revolution after the Ten Tragic Days, February 1913 coup d'état that brought General Victoriano Huerta to the presidency. Obregón supported Sonora's decision to follow Governor Venustiano Carranza as leader of the northern revolutionary coalition, the Constitutional Army, Constitutionalist Army, against the Huerta regime.
