Coat Of Arms Of Austria
The current coat of arms of the Republic of Austria has been in use in its first forms by the Austria, First Republic of Austria since 1919. Between 1934 and the Anschluss, German annexation in 1938, the ''Federal State (Bundesstaat Österreich)'' used a different coat of arms, which consisted of a double-headed eagle (one-party corporatism, corporate state led by the clerico-right-wing Fatherland Front (Austria), Fatherland Front - often labeled austro-fascist). The establishment of the Second Republic in 1945 saw the return of the original arms, with broken chains added to symbolise Austria's liberation. In 1981 the ''Wappen der Republik Österreich (Bundeswappen)'' described the blazon in the Federal Constitutional Law (Austrian act) ''(Bundes-Verfassungsgesetz, B-VG).'' Otto Ender
Otto Ender (24 December 1875 – 25 June 1960) was an Austrian political figure. He served as the chancellor of Austria between 1930 and 1931. Early life and education Ender, the first son of Herman and Victoria Ender, was born in Altach, Vorarlberg. The families of both parents were among the political elite of the village. The maternal great-grandfather, John Walser, was the first superintendent of the municipality created in 1801. The paternal grandfather, Johann Jakob final, had held the same position for 1835–1844 and 1850–1857. From 1861 to 1866 Johann Jacob was a member of the Conservative party in the Parliament of Vorarlberg. Ender studied at the Stella Matutina Jesuit college in Feldkirch from 1888 to 1896. Rudolf Hundstorfer (19 September 1951 – 20 August 2019) was an Austrian Social Democratic Party of Austria, social democratic politician who served as president of the Austrian Trade Union Federation (ÖGB). Herbert Haupt
Herbert Haupt (born 28 September 1947) is an Austrian politician and former party chairman of the Austrian Freedom Party. Born in Seeboden, Carinthia, and a veterinarian by training, he was federal Minister of Social Services from 2000 till 2005 in a coalition government headed by Wolfgang Schüssel. Haupt was Vice Chancellor of Austria from 28 February 2003 until 20 October 2003. He is still a member of the National Council of Austria, now representing the Alliance for the Future of Austria (BZÖ) party founded by Jörg Haider in April 2005. Elisabeth Sickl (born 13 January 1940) is an Austrian retired politician. Sickl was born in Vienna, where she also went to school. She studied law at the University of Vienna, completing the doctorate in 1966. She got qualified as a teacher and taught at, and from 1989 was director of, a school in Feldkirchen in Kärnten. She was appointed by the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) to the state government of Carinthia. In 1999 she was elected into the presidency of the Carinthian Landtag. Sickl was Minister for Social Security and Generations in the first government of Wolfgang Schüssel, succeeding Lore Hostasch in February 2000. Eleonora "Lore" Hostasch (born 9 July 1944) is an Austrian politician and trade union leader. Life Hostasch was born and raised in Vienna. She became a bank employee at BAWAG in 1962. From 1975 – 1994 she was chairperson of the BAWAG works council. She was active in the Chamber for Workers and Employees, notably becoming its president in 1994 until 1997. From 1983 she was on the managing board of the Austrian Trade Union Federation (ÖGB) and was deputy chairperson (1986–1989) and then chairwoman (1989–1994) of the Union of Private Sector Employees. She became vice president of the ÖGB from 1991 until 1995.
