Nationality is a legal identification of a person in international law, establishing the person as a subject, a ''national'', of a sovereign state. The National, currently referred to as the Boost National for sponsorship reasons, is curling tournament that is one of the six events that are part of the Grand Slam of Curling tour, and one of its four "majors". Beginning in 2022, the event features 16 men's and 16 women's teams. The top 15 teams on the World Curling Federation's Order of Merit qualify, plus a "sponsors exemption". The 16 teams are divided into four groups of four teams, and the top eight teams overall advance to a single elimination playoff. The National Motor Vehicle Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles in Indianapolis, Indiana, between 1900 and 1924. One of its presidents, Arthur C. National Benzole was a petroleum brand used in the United Kingdom from 1919 to the 1990s. In 1957, the National Benzole Co. became wholly owned by Shell-Mex & BP (through British Petroleum) but continued its separate trading identity. In the early 1960s, National Benzole was re-branded as National and continued trading as a UK retailer of petroleum products until the early 1990s, when the brand was phased out by parent company, BP. Foundation National Benzole was founded in February 1919 in a room next to the boiler house of the Gas Light and Coke Company in London's Horseferry Road. National Supermarkets was a grocery chain in both the St. Louis, Missouri, and New Orleans, Louisiana, areas of the United States. Both firms were owned by Loblaw Companies of Canada, but in June 1995, they were sold by Loblaw to Schnucks Markets.
